What a handy dandy product! I broke the handle on my old long handled dust pan, so I figured I'd just replace it as I had bought it over 20 years ago. I saw this and thought it would be good not only for sweeping up the garage, but also for doing yard work and raking up the leaves in the fall. I couldn't be more pleased! It's built well, very sturdy, and I have no fear of the handle breaking off! Additionally, it's a real back saver as I don't have to bend over to pick the leaves up -- the "basket" of the dust pan is good sized and I can rake the leaves right in it! Almost wish I'd broken the handle on my old dust pan years ago!!!

Heavy-duty, well-made, and big. I use it for picking up yard clippings. Four stars only because of the "swivel and snap lock" feature. It unlocked and swiveled way too easily, not when it was needed. I epoxied the lock in the upright position, thus eliminating the swivel feature.

Here are my reasons for giving this dustpan 5 stars: The Pros: 01. It's durable. No wobbling, no dirt getting up under it. I use it for outside clean up of leaves, sticks and other yard debris. No signs of wear or tear. 02. It holds quite a lot. I can sweep like 2 bunches of leaves up in it and there is still room to fit more stuff. 03. It is easy to maneuver and dump (now that I rigged it ... see what I mean below on the cons). 04. Matched with the, "KeFanta Outdoor Broom", it really helps with getting concrete surfaces clean. 05. I am 6ft 1 and I don't have to bend over to pick it up and dump it. The Cons: 01. It does not stay locked in when trying to dump the debris out. It starts flopping around and stuff ends up on the ground. I rigged mine. I drilled two holes in it and secured it with zip ties. Now I can dump it and it stays in place (see photo) It really has sped up my yard work. When you have reliable products that do not easily break or malfunction it makes hard work a little more enjoyable.

Love it. Makes cleaning garden/yard work so easy. And to the commentator who suggested to use the zip ties, thank you. But you don’t need holes. There is a thin horizontal opening where the base of the handle clicks in but it doesn’t hold. I slid two zip ties on the sides and it works. No need for boring holes.

Construction good , clip to release a little wonky, using as a dog clean up pooper scooper. Like the angled handle. Will see how it holds up. Price good.Editing review giving another star had it a awhile now really like this product well made clip release works great just had to learn how to press on angle. This is a must have for anyone with a mess to clean up without bending over. Very sturdy construction.

Went to Home Depot to buy a debris dust pan. All they stocked were bins that resembled kitchen dust pans but were painted an 'industrial' black. Bought a 'real' heavy duty dust pan on Amazon and am delighted. Tim the Tool Man Taylor would be happy with this item--no 'little girl' dust pans for him!
