Easy to install, have stayed sturdily in place for 8 months now (and I've placed my car in some pretty rough spots). Its clearly made to fit the rav4 and was not too hard to install. Definetly need a few tools, and its always annoying to do any wiring on vehicles, but once you get it done it seems to be good for life. Love that they turn on by themselves when you open the trunk, was not expecting that. Lights themselves are also just what you want. Bright enough so you can see at night but not at all an eyesore, don't even notice them during the day (I'm wondering if the even turn on during the day, couldn't say). Maybe a more tactile on/off button would be nice, but that's just nitpicking. This is a great product.

I installed these Powerty LED inner door handle lights on my 2024 RAV4 Hybrid XLE, and the result is honestly impressive. I have the 2020 Rav4 XLE PREM. 1. Installation - for the trunk, vanity and dome light was super easy less than 1 minute each. BUT the MAP light was a hassle. It isn't as easy it you would think; pop the cover and done, NOPE. You have to remove the entire unit of the map light; held by 4 push tabs tightly. Then you have to remove the entire front face from the housing; only then you can remove the map light covers. I hoped it was like the 2019 rav4 you see tutorial in youtube easy but its not, it was the harder route and took about 30 minutes of uncertainty of breaking the tabs. but putting it all back took less than 1 minute . 2. Fitment of everything was perfect EXCEPT for the map light. you would have to use scissors to cut down the corners as close to the led as possible to make it fit just enough to put the everything together. 3. The photo was taken at 10pm. I have Tinted windows 15% Rear - 25% fronts. These LED was WAY TOO BRIGHT , you can see the entire cabin from outside! I expected them to be bright as I wanted because I was installing a dash cam the night before and wished the lights was brighter. Order these bad boys and boom. WAY TO BRIGHT FOR COMFORT. Also the trunk picture, all that lighting was from the map and dome light. the little trunk light doesnt do anything. when its off its still the same. Maybe i just need to get use to them, but these are not normal brightness for a car to turn on at night. 4. Pricing honestly guys, if these last more than a year without any hiccups for this kind of brightness compared to a lot of the single LED or bulbs these are too cheap. These should be a bit more costly. These are worth its current price. Lets just hope it last more than a year, at least give it that. NOW its 2022 - Everything is still working perfectly. No flickering. No problems. I still so happy I bought these. If you go camping and off-roading as I did couple of time. These trunk lights and LED are like perfect spot light to cook next to. 2023 UPDATE. - previously I mention it's too bright for my comfort. Now that i have a kid, the brighter the better, in parking lots, at night. You can see everything. To this day, everything still works. Still no flickering. Still no sign of dimming or burning out. Still the best purchase for my rav4 over the past 3 years for the price.

Installed in a about hour using YouTube videos (Morozov Automotive, etc.) for references; 45 mins for the first install on the driver's door (learning where to Access and remove the door bowl trims and armrest cover trims, then learn where and how to fish the wiring through the door handle's now-exposed middle-hole down to the armrest connections). It took 5 mins for the installation on the other doors. I saved the wire ties from kit's provided wire/tap harnesses to use later to secure any loose harness loops so that they don't make rattling noises inside the armrests, before closing everything up to finish. I tested all door lights, and this kit does NOT require any modifications for North American Rav4s (Depining, re-wiring, or re-soldered connections) of the Driver-side wire harness tap in order to work; I was aware of previous complaints on these LED sets where either the driver's or a passenger's lights would fail to work on a North American (USA Spec) Rav4. This kit's harnesses appear to avoid those issues, and there appears to be an extra Driver's side harness provided (5 Total: 3 passenger's type, 2 Driver's type) so try both if necessary. Make sure to match the wire connectors colors carefully when connecting the bowl Lights wire connectors (Red wires side with Red, and Black wire side with black) ; they are very small and easy to break/misalign and could easily be a cause of the lights failing if bent wrong. The door lights come on when the Rav4 turns on, and they STAY ON when it is running (or with Accessory power). It definitely makes the rear seating area less monotone-dark and bland with the splash of blue color. Well worth the little time and effort! Great quality materials! Great to not have to modify anything!

This product is excellent. It brightened up my trunk. The Rav 4 comes with a tiny not very bright trunk light. This light set took care the problem.

Extremely bright lights! Love them. However, front map lights will need some trimming of the led board in order for them to fit in the oem housing. Gave 4 star rating because modifications were needed for the front map light led boards to fit correctly.

The lights are fantastic

Amazing lights .. Make the trunk bright enough to see everything... So helpful to unload groceries in garage at night without going for garage light switch first.
