Fantastic. I am allergic to the sun. I break out in a rash if I am out too long. This umbrella is remarkable. It literally keeps the sun off you. Light weight. Well made, great price.

I bought this UV protection umbrella for my mother, who has very sensitive skin and needs to avoid too much sun exposure. It turned out to be the perfect gift. The umbrella is compact and lightweight, making it easy for her to carry in her purse, yet it’s surprisingly sturdy against wind and everyday use. The UV protection lining really makes a difference—you can feel the temperature drop underneath it. The design is elegant and practical, and it opens and closes smoothly. My mother loves using it not just on sunny days but also when it’s lightly raining. It’s held up well so far and looks like it will last for a long time. Highly recommend for anyone looking for both style and solid sun protection in a small package.

Very functional. Expands and collapses well. It seems to reflect the sun away effectively and definitely keeps rain off of me. And the lavender on the underside is pretty! I only used the storage bag *maybe* once. Normally I tuck the collapsed umbrella into the water bottle pocket in my work bag. My only sadness is that the silver on the outside is rubbing off where the joints/hinges inside fold. But considering how much use I've gotten out of it--including how many times I've folded and unfolded it--the fact that the umbrella doesn't have any holes is remarkable! Would purchase again if needed.

I use this umbrella on the daily basis as I work at a school site and tend to be outside with students. Visually I do enjoy having the cloud background in the inside and the kids think it’s fun. Weight: it is on the heavier side, so I wouldnt recommend if it will be used for hours at a time. Length: wouldn’t hurt to be 1/2 a foot longer Durability: I’ve had it close to a month. So far so good. UV resistance: excellent. I’m pretty sensitive to the sun and can literally feel the difference when I’m on a blacktop with 105+ degree weather. Wind resistance: it has flipped over multiple times, however, it doesn’t seem to cause any damage Cons: it’s a bit annoying that to close it I have to retract the the stock of the umbrella Pros: the uv resistance is amazing!

I’ve had this umbrella for about a week. I’ll update the review if necessary, but I must say as someone who has albinism damn I’m impressed. Since I’m really sensitive to the sun this definitely does the job when it comes to keeping me cool, while protecting my skin from the harsh UV rays. Had not gotten sunburn which I’m pretty impressed, as I heard that UV rated umbrellas only provide a level of protection. Did extensive research and the size is what should be the standard which is 46 inches. Got it in black with outside being silver, by far very portable and durable. Easy to get rid of the smell that people have been complaining about, just spray lightly with a strong unisex perfume/cologne. Used Lattafa to get rid of that smell. Since then the smell has gone away. Overall, I’m very impressed better than Coolibar umbrella as they don’t have size 46. If this thing keeps holding I will definitely buy two more of these.

Sturdy and Pretty. I love this umbrella. I mostly use it for sun. I am sure it works in the rain too.

Awsome umbrella but mine stop working

Great price for this sun protection umbrella, there are similar ones on the market but more expensive. This works well and gives the protection needed to protect from UV rays.

This parasol/umbrella is my essential travel companion as I go about my life in Spain. I have Cutaneous Lupus which means I have photosensitivity and I can now shade my head, face and neck safely (aswell as wearing sunblock) without having to wear hats which make my head too hot! The reflective outer prevents the sun's rays from coming through which gives me more confidence to go out and about. Really pleased with this purchase!

Construction wise, the umbrella is okay. It’s compact, the plastic handle has a nice textured handle, strong springs that pop it open. It arrived smelling like pee on the inside. I used it for uv just fine; when I finally used it in the rain, RUST!! Why are you making an UMBRELLA with the cheapest non water-resistant metal parts possible. It would be nice if they shipped it clean, and if they change out the metal parts for stainless steel that won’t rust when the umbrella gets wet. Zoom in on picture 3 to see the rusting.

Me encanta! elegí uno con estampado de cielo nuboso. Me gusta el material, algo grande y robusto pero cabe en la parte lateral de mi mochila. Vivo en la península de Yucatán, el clima es caluroso. Lo que he notado al usar éste producto durante 20 días: - Ya no siento que se caliente mi cabeza jajaja - Provee buena sombra por lo que ya no me arde la piel por la exposición solar. - Cortaviento? Bastante bien, basta con ponerlo contra viento y regresa a la normalidad. - En lluvia, no decepciona, aunque ya tiene una machita de óxido, quizá no lo sequé bien antes de guardarlo, es mínima y no afecta a su calidad. Chao!

Muy buena sombrilla, protege muy bien del sol y realmente se siente la diferencia en días de calor intenso. Es resistente al viento y no se voltea fácilmente. Los materiales se ven duraderos y de alta calidad. Sin duda la recomiendo.
