Ordered for our landline in the house. It's perfect and works great

We purchased this for my mother in law. It was easy to install. Just plug it in where the old one was. Then work through a couple of menus to set up the time, date, etc and the voicemail message. I'd recommend it.

I selected the Used, But Like New option for a set of four Vtech call-blocking phones (at approx. half the price of the newer model). They were offered on the site with the newest model, but this is actually an older model. Will it affect their performance? I don't know; I was primarily interested in the call-blocking feature and presume it will work as well as our other set of four phones. There were two problems with this order: 1) there were only 3 batteries supplied with the 4 phones, and, 2) of the four units, I needed to have one of the phones installed on a wall. The set comes with a wall hanger but one can only mount the base unit on it, which is not where I wanted to position the base unit. Three of the units are clustered in close proximity to one another, while the fourth unit is in the basement. All of them seem to be working just fine, even with the greatest distance between the base unit and the one which is setup in the basement, but, so far, no complaints.

Answering machine only used for land line, not used for cell lines. No call count display for recorded voicemail messages left on cell service provider? VM key does not retrieve voice mail messages from cell provider. If you want a cell phone capability in different rooms without carrying your cell phone with you, I do not recommend this product. The $44 cost does not make it worth you while to return it. Give it to goodwill.

We got this system to replace our old answering machine/phone that quit after a storm. I liked the fact that there were two phones so we could now have a phone upstairs. It also said it blocked spam and robo calls. I was happy to see that! We sometimes get 12 a day and even though we don't answer them, they still ring through. Well, not anymore! The phone just blocks them. I see on the phone that they were blocked and the number that called. Then I just clear that off of the phone. With this being an election year, the number of these calls is only going to get worse! And it's now blissfully silent at our house! This was VERY easy to set up. And I also have set up numbers that can ring through and others are given the option of announcing who is calling or going to the answering machine and leaving a message. We are glad we bought this!

I would not recommend this product to anyone. It was purchased and put into use 3 months ago and has already suffered a base failure and does not work at all. It is a very nice set that works well while it works but definitely not worth the money given it's short life span. Would not buy again. If I could I would rate it at zero.

I had an issue with another brand of phone which I returned. I use magic jack for voip. I bought the VTech and it worked immediately. I just wish the instructions were more detailed as to how input info. No where does it tell you how to create a space between two words. Thank heavens for you tube!

come with power supply 100-120v 50hz which is not working in UAE, you need to buy new power supply 220V with same output

I waited a week after I set up my new system before I posted a review. I want to tell you that my wife and I now have peace and quiet from the robo and unsolicited calls. We used to get robo calls at 4:30 in the morning. We had to take our phones off line every night. No more! Things are so much more peaceful. I am very critical of these reviews and do not believe everything I see on them. I have to tell you that I have been looking for something to do this job for several years now, the other call blockers just did not do the job. #1 rave is the ability do down load your phone numbers from your smart phone. You save hours and hours of programing by using this feature. I cleaned up my iphone numbers (long over due) and downloaded them into this system. I must say, it did take more time than I thought but at the end, there they were, all listed as they should be. #2, maybe a bit of a rant BUT this phone does do so much and programing it can be a bit of an issue if you are not tech person. However, this company does give a very good set up procedure, albeit it is a bit complicated. When you are ready to do this, relax, take your time, leave the wine alone and read the directions several times before you start. Do not expect to have everything set up the first time. I did not. I went over everything 3 times before I was satisified. It was well worth it and the system is great. Sorry, for over doing my review but I am so happy I finally found an out to these phone hackers and have peace. Give it a try but be patient. Good luck.

Me agrado mucho pero lo único que no eh podido encontrar es que dure mas tiempo sonando para que no entre la contestadora en automático ya que a los 4 sonidos si no alcanzas a contestar en automático te pone la contestadora y no puedo desactivarlo tienes que colgar y regresar la llamada. Pero de las demas funciones esta muy bien y el volumen tanto del sonido como para escuchar excelente si cumple con las perspectivas
