Pure Maple Sugar Candy, 1 Lb.

These maple sugar candies are delicious! I grew up in Michigan, and maple sugar things were rather familiar. But most of my life since then has been in other parts of the country where maple sugars and real maple syrup is not as common. These candies gave me a big wave of nostalgia -- and a tremendous sugar rush! Worth it though, as an occasional treat.

I am a BIG maple fan. And being as how I am disabled, it is not the easiest to just traipse around looking for good maple candy. So, I thought I would try getting it to come to me! I was so concerned I would get old chalky candy off Amazon though. But what’s a maple lover to do? I weighed all of Amazon’s choices carefully. Being disabled, I am on a fixed income, and maple candy does not come cheap. Stony Acres ends up costing the least even though you have to pay for shipping. And WOW!! It tastes just like the maple candy my mom used to get for us from the Cost Plus World Market in Cali, but better! Also, It was MADE on 3/10/24. I received it on 3/14. Fresh maple candy??!! Only days old??!! Be still my beating heart. I am in love! And Stony Acres packaged it with care and a lovely card thanking me for supporting small businesses. This is definitely the best maple candy to buy from Amazon!

I love maple candy and this is the best deal I have found. They were a little bit hard for my taste when they arrived but they had to make a long journey to Panama. I just stuck them in a tupperware with a slice of bread and they softened right up! Yum yum yum!

Not only is the maple candy delicious and melt in your mouth, but USPS put the package in the wrong mailbox. After three days of it showing delivered but not receiving it I reached out to the seller. They responded quickly and offered to replace or refund me at once! I opted for a replacement and then later that night my neighbor came over to drop off my package!! I reached back out to let them know and was thanked. Just exceptional customer service. Can’t say enough what a wonderful company!!! Fantastic product, fantastic service!!

These were ok for the price. They tasted a bit on the gritty side. Could just have been that particular batch. Candy is tricky to make if your temperature is even off a little bit! They were fresh when they arrived. The packaging was good and the personal handwritten card were very nice touches. I’ve recently purchased these candies from other farms and so far Nova Farms is my favorite they are rich and creamy and were fresh when they arrived.

I like the flavor. It’s real maple candy without other added sugars to dilute the flavor and cheapen it. They are a bit firm but not bad and the flavor more than makes up for it. They also sent a lovely handwritten thank you which was a nice touch. I am switching up my go to maple candy supplier to these guys!!

I grew up waiting for Christmas time when Hickory Farms store would get stocked with fresh maple sugar candy. The stores are long gone and when they pop up at the holiday season now the prices are obscene. I have been in the habit of buying my maple candy online directly from the farms where it is made. I do this in the Winter because that is when they tap the trees and get the syrup that is boiled down into the raw sugar and then placed into molds. I fully expected this box of maple candy to be fresh and flavorful as well as melt on my tongue. When I opened the box I could tell I would be disappointed. The candy was slightly discolored. As it ages and dries out the color changes from an almost caramel to a near white. The first piece I tried was rock hard and instead of the expected sweetness it had an off taste to it. I tried other and they were all the same. It was a lot of money needed elsewhere wasted. I can still crush it and sprinkle it on certain foods but unfortunately I sent a box to my son since it was something we enjoyed together when he was young. I am very disappointed. If it is a rick to buy from this company I simply will not and will not recommenced them.
