Bad back? Buy the Nitrofit!
Fantastic machine! I’ve suffered with back pain for years. I never knew until recently that this type of stretching equipment existed. It is a God send for anyone with back pain and poor flexibility. I have read all the reviews and watched some side by side videos on YouTube. This unit, the Nitrofit, is the best option in my opinion. I cannot see the more expensive units doing the job any better. In one online video there was a three way comparison, it showed that the Nitrofit is more stable than the most expensive unit of the three and had a better handle bar mount design than the other model. The only negative to this unit in any review I had read was the lack of extra padding on the front edge of the knee pad. The area where your knees rest has plenty of padding but when you are doing some of the leg stretches and the bottom of your leg is on the leading edge of the knee pad it can get a little painful. In my case I couldn’t tell if the pain was the lack of extra padding or if it was my poor flexibility…probably both! But I have solved the only negative to this machine and it is an easy and inexpensive fix. I added a replacement foam roller for another piece of equipment. All I did was slice it down the center on one side and it fit right over the edge of the knee pad. I ordered a 16 inch and it was the perfect length. I did notice that the foam roller would stay on during other exercises but it moved slightly. I trimmed a little more foam off the inside and used 2-inch-wide X 15 inch of Velcro to hold the roller in place. Since the Velcro is on the bottom of the knee pad you can take the roller off if you find it a distraction doing other exercises but I find it feels fine keeping it in place for all the exercises. It also gives you a little extra ‘lift’ and comfort when doing the Quadriceps. Check out the photos, here is a link to the same type of foam roller I used, these are sold in pairs so if you screw one up you will have a spare. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B002URFCYU?pf_rd_p=faa1d3e1-fadf-4279-ac2d-3096206e4690&pf_rd_r=9RDHJJ760XQWEAMA5WJT With the calf stretch ramp, the overall stability, the quality, the exercise display, and with the one little modification the Nitrofit is the perfect stretching machine. My back feels better after a week with the Nitrofit than it has in years.

Great Product for the Price
I purchased the Nitrofit Limber Pro Stretch machine a month ago to assist with the bursitis in my hip and to have something for my husband to stretch his back as he does a great deal of heavy lifting at work. I could not get a decent stretch using the floor exercises recommended by the Chiropractor. I saw a similar machine in the office and watched other patients use it. It looked like it would be a great help in getting the stretch I needed for my hip. The employees advised the machine was no longer available to purchase. Well that particular machine may not have been, but they have others out there. Thank goodness. This machine is awesome. My husband and I use it every morning after our morning exercises. I get the deep stretch needed to keep the pain out of my hip. My husband says his back has never felt better. The other stretches on the machine are also great. I will use it in the morning and again before going to bed. It has help tremendously with my pain. I did a great deal of research on the Nitrofit ($449.00) and Precor 240i Commercial Series ($728.00) stretch trainers before purchasing one. There were two complaints for the Nitrofit on Amazon reviews- 1. felt it was made of cheap steel (1) (I personally did not feel this was true) and 2. not enough padding around the foot board (explained below). I also found an exercise/trainer web page that evaluated both machines. For use, durability, and cost the Nitrofit won hands down. There was not a down side by this website. The pluses were it had an adjustable base (for height) and had the calf stretcher which are not available on the Precor. The Precor 240i review was very general in description and did not provide anything to sway me in spending a great deal more money. Recommendations for the manufacturer 1. Send larger paper prints of the exercises with the machine or a link to access printable copies. I was able to go to the Nitrofit website to see larger pictures, this was very helpful but I could not print them, I had to take pictures of each exercise with my cell phone. 2. Use a different color than grey on the placard for the start position as it is not real visible. This made it difficult to figure out a couple of the exercises. 3. Figure out a way to put more padding on the edge of the foot board as when you do the hamstring stretch it can be somewhat painful on the under part of the leg. I place a folded up shirt under my leg and this alleviates the problem. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and would purchase this again. It would have been nice to have actually tried the Precor 240i to have a true comparison of movement and durability but I am not sure with the large cost difference it would have changed my mind. As stated above in the reviews I read there was nothing that stood out making the commercial product better.

Love this machine!
I used a machine similar to this at the gym and loved it. After researching several machines offered on Amazon, I decided on this one. It is very sturdy and easy to use. You are in complete control, and can ease into each stretch to the point that you feel comfortable. There is the tiniest wobble when sitting on the seat, but I think it’s due to how the parts fit together on the adjustable base to allow the seat to move forward and backwards. It is very sturdy! I have had lower back and hip pain for a while now and this machine helps tremendously. The full routine of stretches, provided on the illustration panel, only take a few minutes and make a world of difference. I sleep so much better now without tossing and turning from aching all night. I bought this on sale, but it is worth every penny sale or no sale. My only note is that we don’t need the ability to adjust the base. Unless you are really tall, I doubt it would be an issue. The one at the club was smaller than this one and numerous people of all sizes were able to use it affectively. We keep it behind a chair in the living room, and it is barely visible (see picture). It makes it very easy to use in passing throughout the day and while watching TV in the evening. I had a question after I received it and I easily got in contact with the seller. They responded immediately and resolved my issue.

Works as advertised, if not better for us at least
Purchased this machine several months ago to help focus on some back stretching, as both my wife and I were having a hard time isolating certain low-back muscles with "normal" ways of stretching. This machine did exactly what we were hoping it would, and it doesn't cost nearly as much as that name-brand machine, which is awesome. I can feel every muscle in my lower back being stretched, and our low-back pain/tightness is no longer an issue for us. The footprint of the machine isn't too large, and since we use it daily, it stays set up in its own spot in our master bedroom. We really do use this on a daily basis to stay healthy, and it never collects laundry, like some fitness machines are prone to do (*cough*treadmills*cough*). The only reason I didn't give it a 5-star rating on "Sturdiness" is that it does have some flexion along the seam where the main trusses connect. This is literally just an aesthetic concern though, and doesn't affect the machine's function at all. I think the price difference alone between the NitroFit Limber Pro and the name brand machine is more than enough to tolerate such a minor thing. That being said, the machine does appear well constructed and durable, and we've used it daily for several months now with no issues at all. That's why I can highly recommend this to anyone needing that DEEP lower back stretch to keep back pain at bay. July 2020 update: I had to remove one star from my rating as the joint where the two halves join ended up breaking, this breakage due to a pretty cruddy weld at that seam. However, I was able to fix the machine for less than $20 by using a steel square tube and some high strength construction glue from Home Depot. I would have lowered my rating to 3 stars, but my repair ended up making the machine stronger than originally designed, so my wife and I still use this machine on a daily basis and still love stretching on it.

Impressive back saving machine!
Pre-pandemic I belonged to a gym and the first thing I always did was head to the Precor stretching machine. It saved my back on multiple occasions. I have intermittent spinal stenosis and sciatic pain. I thought about purchasing one for my home, but apartment living is not conducive to a machine this large. Fast forward, due to Covid I no longer belong to a gym, but my back was screaming at me to do something. I did research the 3 top stretching machines. Precor was briefly reduced to about $650 one brief 24 hr period. But, I hesitated and it reverted to its untouchable price the next morning . I called Medvibe and spoke to a salesman about the Nitrofit Lumber Pro. He said that my petite stature would value the patented adjustable seat. I asked if it could be returned, and he quite honestly said the act of reassembling would be onerous, but they would troubleshoot any problem I encountered. I also checked with Amazon and it was returnable on Amazon Prime, and they would arrange a pickup from my 2nd floor apt., given the weight and size. I double checked the price on Amazon. There was a significant coupon and lest it disappear the next morning, purchased through Amazon. There is a superb assembly video for the Nitrofit on Youtube. It is one of the best instructional films I have ever watched...in any subject area. Had I relied on the instructional booklet that accompanied the machine, I would have gone insane. But methodically following the point by point, reassuring, instructions on the video, I completed the assembly in 3+ hours. There are lots of bolts, and washers...but the video will hold your hand and guide you reassuringly. Do I have any regrets about not getting the Precor? Not a one. The distance of the seat from the handle bars is customizable. The actual seat is larger than the Precor. The build is rock solid. Had I used this before the Precor, I never would have hesitated. I have it in my bedroom, and the first thing I do in the morning is hop on it. It is a superb piece of equipment. Do not hesitate. Buy it! You will be glad you did. I am.

Very good purchase
Product and customer service are both excellent. I emailed Nitrofit last weekend to inquire if the equipment being sold had the updated cushions and if it was indeed gray as opposed to a gold tone that appears in some of the Amazon customer pictures. I received a reply within a couple of hours - on a Sunday! Jonathan H confirmed that since 2017, the equipment has shipped with the improved cushions and that the machine is silver so any gold tone in photos is likely from camera flashes. I thanked him for replying so quickly - on a Sunday - and I placed my order. The following day, I had another email from Jonathan with his direct contact information and an offer to walk me through any assembly issues, if needed. Truly excellent customer service. Regarding the equipment, I have used and really liked the Precor at a commercial gym, and I do prefer the Nitrofit for the seat adjustment feature, the calf stretch board, and it feels more secure when leaning all the way back. I am a small-framed female and the Precor at the gym feels like it wants to slightly lift off the floor when I am on it. The Nitrofit feels solid and stays in full contact with the floor which gives me the confidence to fully engage and hold the stretch. My Nitrofit cushions are more comfortable than the Precor at the gym, but to be fair, the Precor at the gym has had more use so I am not sure if this is a new versus used issue, but the important thing is that the Nitrofit is very comfortable. The Nitrofit will be a nice edition to my home gym and I also think this type of equipment will be more effective with daily use as opposed to my occasional use at the commercial gym. Regarding assembly - I didn't have to call Jonathan although I much appreciated his offer. That said, the assembly, while not difficult, was much easier with assistance from someone else. I started the assembly myself and did fine until about halfway and gave up for a couple of hours until I had an extra set of hands for assistance. The help needed was just to hold some of the curved (and slightly heavy) parts in place while the screws were started. A pair of extra hands made the second half of the assembly very fast. I appreciate that most of the screws were already in place so there was no need to spend 30 minutes sorting parts before beginning assembly.

Great machine and highly recommended
As I've gotten older (actually quite old), I've lost a lot of flexibility, contributing to an array of back and other issues. A personal trainer and a chiropractor both suggested strengthening and stretching exercises and highly recommended the Nitrofit as the best stretching machine available, certainly at its price point. I bought it to augment my routines and I've been using it regularly, sometimes 3 times a day. Over the past several weeks, there has been a slow, but clearly evident increase in flexibility in my hamstrings, calves and back, and generally more fluid mobility. It took me some time to put the machine together, but the directions were clear-cut and if I was able to assemble it, pretty much anyone can. It might be helpful, though not necessary, for two people to assist with assembly, primarily to facilitate the alignment of screw holes on some parts. Once assembled, the machine is very stable and there is no flexing of the front of the Nitrofit when leaning back into a deep stretch, an important consideration for anyone who might have issues with balance. Overall, very happy with the purchase and will continue to use frequently. There were two minor issues: one, the cap on the pin holding the calf stand fell off repeatedly, which did not affect functionality, but was still annoying, and two, a similarly minor problem that was my fault as a result of using the wrong screw on a part. I called customer service and they are replacing the pin as well as sending me a replacement for the part that I screwed up (literally). Every customer service department should be as responsive. If you're thinking of getting a stretch machine, I highly recommend the Nitrofit. Once set up, it's a pleasure to use, and I really can't think of a thing that I don't like about it. As an added bonus, Nitrofit is a no hassle company that stands behind its product. What more could you want?

Well built machine. Should last long.
Received the product for Christmas and put it together the day after. Packaging protected the product well. Instructions are easy to follow if you just read each step through. Nitrofit made assembly easier by installing many of the bolts already in place, you just unscrew them, put two pieces together, and put bolts and washers back in. Nice touch! They also added lock washers on top of the flat washers in most bolt attaching places, or used self locking nuts. Again, nice touch! Impressed me as a guy who inspects the reassembly of Army helicopters for a living. The pads seem well made, comfortable, and durable. My only complaint to dock them one star is one insert on the knee pad would not accept the screw. Tried changing screws but no-go. So being the typical man I tried to force it to get that dang thing to start down the threads. Well... I stripped the threads on the screw. The good news is I called Nitrofit and they listened to my problem and without hesitation they are sending me a new knee pad. That’s how I want to be treated as a customer. I went ahead with 3 of 4 screws holding the knee pad and started using the machine and am well satisfied. The calf stretch plate (not offered by Precor’s similar machine) works well too. Hand grips are comfortable. Foot pedal size and design location is no issue for my size 13 shoes. Seat and knee pad rotate smoothly. I have it sitting on my basement floor and it is stable. I have not experimented with the adjustable seat going fore and aft yet but I like the option of it being there so my wife or I can tailor it to suit us. Again, the Precor does not have that option. I highly recommend the Nitrofit machine from my short experience with it so far.

Great stretcher
Great stretcher, thats half the cost of a precor. Its even better than a precor. Assembly is easy if you follow the video, which is very detailed and provides very clear inatructions. As stated in the video the assembly will be much easier if you have a ratchet wrench and a power tool.

Great machine!
First off - the "how to" video makes assembly super quick and easy. I didn't have to look as the instructions once. As for the machine - I love the stretches. I set it up in my home gym and now it's easy to add critical stretches between reps of weights and after cardio. Sure - you can always get on the floor on a mat (like I used to), but having a machine with a tilting seat makes getting into and out of stretches so much easier and more convenient. I wish I'd bought this years ago.

Made My Life a Little Better
In the pre-COVID-19 world I was going to the gym a few times a week. I used the Precor machine at the gym and noticed that my back did not hurt. I could walk for over a mile and not have pain. Due to my age and many other health related issues I stopped going to the gym prior to the Ontario government closing them down. To make the story short, after a while my back hurt all the time. I could not walk to the back of the apartment building without sever pain. So I ended up buying the Nitrofit Limber Pro. I am so glad that I did. I thought that the Lower Back & Upper Back exercises would be my favourites. They are great but I found the Hamstrings exercise to the one the made my body the happiest. After only 1 week my back does not hurt as much. It is easier to put on my socks. When I do have pain, the Limber Pro is there to take it away. One surprise was the Calves exercises. I didn't realise how much I needed it or how good it would feel! It may just be coincidence but I no longer wake up with leg pain when I start to wake up. I have very happy with the Limber Pro. I just wish that I had purchased it much earlier. It was delivered much more quickly than Amazon's expected delivery date. It was relatively easy to assemble (there are a lot of parts). There is a video on YouTube that takes you through the assembly process. The Front Post Cover was broken during shipment. I contacted Medvibe. They responded within a short time requesting a delivery address for the part. I received the tracking number for the part the same day. The support department have been friendly and helpful.

Excellent appareil
Je bien satisfait de l'appareil. Un bon prix, beaucoup moins dispendieux que les autres modèles. L'appareil est robuste, flexible et facile d'assemblage. Je le recommande.

Even better than expected.
I've had this machine for three months and already I see significant changes. I am a 67 year old man and I was no longer able to pick up a pencil from the floor by bending over. Now I pick up a pencil without difficulty. I am getting closer to my next goal which is to touch the floor with my fingertips without bending my knees. I am very pleased with my machine to date and look forward to seeing the improvement in my golf swing.
