Great looking, no-nonsense fitness tracking watch that works great!
Great watch, looks fantastic and the sapphire glass is a great touch and makes it much clearer than run of the mill mineral glass. The setup was easy and the app is great for connecting with google fit and strava. The strap size is 20mm so is very easy find replacements if you want a change of look. The tracking data is the best ive seen from a watch, including various fitbits smart watches including the Samsung Galaxy Watch. The step dial is handy as it is a good indicator of how active you have been at a glance. Scrolling through the menu is simple, ive actually used the timer and stopwatch function too which i never do even on a standard digital watch! Although it is predominantly an analogue watch without a touch screen, it is very easy to find and start a workout and read the data, i prefer this to the all singing and dancing smart watches where half the features i dont use once the novelty has warn off.The sleep monitoring is brilliant and the sleep apnea and afib detection is great. The automatic workout detection works as much as is expected, it isnt infallable but does a good job. If it gets it wrong you can always change what it thinks it has detected later in the app anyway so it isnt a big deal.If you want a great looking, well built, no-nonsense timepiece with health tracking abilities that just works, this is for you.

Very accurate ECG, HR Monitor and Activity Counter. A cool medical device, not a sport device.
This is the perfect watch for those of you who want health monitoring without the complications of an Apple/Samsung/Garmin watch. It has a medical grade ECG which I can confirm is accurate and can detect heart rate fibrillation (which I used to have). It is not a watch for hang gliders, parachutists or surfers- it is really more of a medical device that looks like a really nice analogue watch. No music, gps or remote answering but on the other hand battery life is great, and can last several weeks without recharging. The phone app that comes with it is simple to use but has nice functions including activity monitoring and sending readings to your doctor in a pdf report. Well built watch that looks great too. Very happy.

Some good features, some not so good and some lacking
As along time user of smartwatches, I’ve come to expect certain things and this often has less than I would expect. I think it is better to think of it as a health watch than a full smart watch.Firstly, the positives. The heart rate tracking appears accurate and I have to assume that the ECG is too but have nothing to compare this to. As a hybrid watch it looks smart and is comfortable to wear. Now the negatives. The spo2 tracking seems poor. More often than not it says inconclusive and when it does work, it gives a much lower reading than my fingertip oximeter. The sedentary reminder is only possible during the ‘day’ so not helpful for somebody whose days are others nights because they work shifts. Plus it doesn’t take very much movement to satisfy it so it doesn’t really work. The sleep tracking is also not great, it will say I am sleeping deeply when I know that I was laid awake. The notifications scroll briefly across the hybrid window and then are gone, there is no way to check them as they are not stored. The app is fairly good but sometimes I have to close and then restart it before it will sync. Now the lacking. No GPS. Relatively little depth in workout options. Modern smartwatches are getting ever expanding features such as voice assistants, NFC for contactless payments, compass. I guess things like weather aren’t really an option for a small hybrid screen.Ultimately, I bought it for the ECG and the atrial fibrilation detection and I can only assume that these work well so I will continue to use the watch for this reason. As a health watch, I can accept that it won’t have full smart watch features but Withings need to sort out some things like the rubbish spO2 detection and the poor sleep tracking. It’s not a cheap watch and so should be expected to work properly. As a health watch, I think the next model should include a temperature sensor too. This is my first Withings product and whilst I like the look of their range, my experience so far is that a premium priced product should work better.Edit: After reading the other reviews, the spO2 detection is much more reliable when the strap is very tight and the watch is further from the wrist bone (around 2cm). However, after further usage, the sleep tracking is at least as bad as I thought. If you are having a relatively sedentary day, the watch thinks you are sleeping all day. So I’d now say the spO2 works well but the sleep tracking is really bad.

After buying ECG move bought the Scanwatch. Now a lifesaver.
Bought Scanwatch version after buying the ECG move version which is excellent anyway. I have Atrial Fibrillation which as been detected by the Move version 3 times. So Scanwatch was a natural progression as it constantly scans for the problem. This watch is a step up for quality and design and having the Heart beat,Breathing and Oxygen monitoring built in is excellent. Bought a Amazon Warehouse priced version which is a saving of another £70 off their own new price. It was new just a small rip in outer cardboard box and a bonus was it had two strap's included Italian leather which is £40+ normally more and standard quality plastic which is for everyday use. This was a total surprise as it's not mentioned when bought. So take a risk on Warehouse purchases as if not up to speck you can always return item. Anyway watch is excellent. Thanks .Since my review this watch as become a life saver it detected Atrial fibrillation and from that went to AE in UK who gave me a ECG and a injection of beta blocker that brought my heat rate from 166bpm to 73bpm within 2 minutes. Now under medical supervision. It took this watch to report it. I always wear it.
