Great garbage bags. We use them in my teenage son's room. Fits perfectly in 8 gal cans and helps reduce smell. They are also strong and so far they haven't torn or leaked so no mess!

These Glad trash bags fit our laundry room trash bin perfectly. Our local stores aren’t carrying this size anymore. I’m so glad I found this large pack on Amazon! This large box will last for a while. These bags are thick and well made. The scent is not strong at all. Most scented trash bags are overpowering, and I can’t smell these at all. I’m so glad I ordered these!

Good size but one thing I don't like and its minor, but you can't see the drawstring handles when you try to pull up. The bags are white and the drawstring is gray. I fumble, for to long, looking to grab the handles. They should've made it in a darker color? But very sturdy small bags.

I really do Love this product (Medium 8 gallon 80 count trash bags by GLAD) enough that I put it on monthly Subscription on my Amazon account. I also like and subscribe to the 4 gallon 40 count size for my bathroom trash as well. That said, personally, the biggest complaint I have that annoys me enough to deduct a Star from my review is that these are a continuous perforated roll, and not individually released bags in Both sizes. The carpal tunnel and trigger fingers on both my hands make releasing the individual bags a bit of a pain… pun intended. My review will be 5 stars once GLAD fixes this, if they ever get around to it. I notice HEFTY has a 4 gallon sized bags that are individually released and scented as well, but I like this product well enough to subscribe to it. Otherwise, when it comes to size, opacity, scents, durability, and colors, I have absolutely no issues. I also like that there is a design on the rim, so it motivates me to load the trash bags onto the bins/pails properly (for any confusion, see YouTube). Overall, the proof I like these bags is in my repeat purchases. I also buy these for my disabled Mother and visually impaired Sister, who have a tendency to overload the kitchen trash bag, so the 13 gallon bags tend to get really heavy and difficult to manage/lift into the collection container. The 8 gallon size, even if they do overload the bag, is still way less cumbersome than the larger bags for their physical condition. Just waiting for the individually released rolls now… Hint, Hint!!!

This 8 gallon bag might have been able to stretch onto my 8.6 gal basket, but since the drawstring isn't flexible at all, it takes a superhuman effort to get the bag's lip over the basket's lip. Instead, I usually cut the drawstring, then the bag rips a little at the top when I stretch it onto the 8.6 gal basket, but it's good enough to keep from wasting the purchase of these bags. For this photo, I worked up a sweat, and it was the first time I ever got the drawstring over the lip of the basket. As usual, the bag started to rip at the top, anyway. Sorry it's not a match, because the bag is so good. (Except for the environmental issues about purchasing plastic garbage bags, but what can you do?) The bag always rips at the top when the basket is too big; duh. But after that exercise, it doesn't rip anymore beyond that, so it's self-limiting. I find the bag's plastic is plenty strong for the kitchen, but maybe not for carrying masonry supplies. The drawstring eliminates the need for tie-wraps, even if you cut through it with a scissor. My next purchase will a bag that says "8 to 11 gallons," or something like that. I hope it'll be as good as this bag. These fragrant-free bags have no scent.

Smells lovely. It fit well on my 4.5 gallong trash bin. Doesn't feel cheap like its going to fall apart and the pull strings dont rip through the plastic.

These fit my bathroom trash cans perfectly. Smell is a little strong.

Reliable product. It has a fresh lemon scent that isn’t too chemically smelling. Fits as expected and has a decorative print.

There is no disputing that each time you flip up the trash-bin lid the lovely scent makes you smile. However, I have to deduct two stars for the Glad claim, "DRAWSTRING TRASH BAG: The drawstring closure ensures a tight grip on trash cans and makes for a simple removal with a quick cinch of the durable drawstring". Perhaps I'm missing the how-to on getting the bag to secure around the lip of the trash bin. I cannot see how the drawstring is an advantage in staying securely around the container. When you pull the string it just withdraws or lays slack. I'll wait for any feedback on how this is supposed to work. I can't figure it out. Sure, you can sinch the entire bag together once you remove it and get ready to throw it out but, prior to that I just don't see it.
