Does the white remain white? Or it gets easily dirty?

The white surface is shiny and and does not get easily dirty. And if gets dirty of dirty fingers you can just wipe it off with a little damp cloth and dish soap.But the surface does not stand hard scratches from a tool or for a long time with keys in your pocket. The quality of the pen is great. I have five.
