Did exactly what I hoped, colour nearer to cream though
I was working on exterior brickwork about 8ft up on a ladder which meant using this tube was convenient. Some reviewers mentioned its hard to push out so i had the tube kept in a warm location before use. You get a sausage of about 10mm diameter coming out. It is only lightly sticky so in some areas I had to push it onto the old mortar with my finger. Perhaps priming with pva might help there. It seems to be quite secure once dry. The colour is cream once dry. In the photo I have used the whole tube so it does not go a very long way. One of the verticals had a big cavity but mostly the coverage is one sausage deep. The good thing is it does not slump out of the joints. With real mortar the consistency would need to be perfect to achieve the same result.

Convenient.
Ideal for very small re-pointing or filling tasks.

So far so good!
I noticed a dodgy old repair in the mortar hidden behind a drainpipe that’s causing a damp patch in our kitchen. Someone had jammed wood in the hole that’s been bridging moisture right through the wall cavity 🙄. Anyway, bought this as I thought it would be easier to get in behind the drainpipe. Worked a treat and looks fairly neat (well, for me anyway 🤣). I had to use it just above the minimum temp but doesn’t appear to have caused any issues. As another reviewer mentioned, it’s best to leave it in a bowl of warm water before use as it makes it easier to use.

Too hard to squeeze out
The product is great and does the job but the issue is it doesn’t squeeze out of the tube very easily. Had to take the nozzle off as just couldn’t get it out.

Easy to use for small repairs
Brought to fill some gaps in house walls. It was easy to use and was moist enough to squeeze out using a sealant gun. Followed instructions and appears to have worked as expected. Dries lighter than my current mortar but hoping will go darker over time. Strength and durability will be tested over time but happy with it at the moment. As many other reviewers have mentioned it doesn’t go far so only good for minor repairs.

does the job
Lighter in colour and courser than expected but easy to apply and sets quickly.

Great product
Bought this in a sale so if it was rubbish I’d only loose a few quid, however it was great and worked a treat. I used it to refill some holes in pointing and was pleased with the results. I did however put it in a jug of warm water for 20 mins before use and it came out no problem. It seems to have adhered to the existing mortar and has set well. I have to say it is light in colour but I’m sure it will weather over time! All in all a great product and certainly worth the sale price!

Hard, dry and almost impossible to apply.
This item was one of the worst products I have used. I needed to make good a short length of mortar, which had been removed when some scaffolding was taken away. I bought this brand because it seems to be well known and widely respected. However, I found the contents of the tube incredibly hard to squeeze out. It literally hurt my hand, it was so difficult. When it did come out of the nozzle the mortar was hard and very dry. There was no smooth run, as I had expected. Instead it came out in hard lumps, which immediately fell to the ground, as it would not adhere to anything. I ended up pushing the mortar into the gap with my finger, as it was the only way I could get it to stay in. A very poor product. I would definitely not recommend it.
