Good product but hard to use
Good product. It's hard to open the filter part. Also hard to clean. Tea leaves will get stuck between the circles so you have to master the art of getting tea with this or put the tea in with a spoon which feels like it beats the purpose. Wasn't as practical and fast as I thought.

Mesh ball tea strainer
These are great they are sturdy and well built they keep the tea intact and ensure a great tea is made. They are value for money and will last a very long time. They are a perfect size for a perfect brewm

Tarnish over time
After a few weeks of use these start to lose their coating and affect the taste of tea considerably. I’ve since discarded them and bought food-grade 304 stainless steel tea baskets. It’s good that they’re cheap, but ultimately not a good purchase.

Value for money
Such a simple device, but it works excellently, stops the tea leaves escaping the crappy bags of tea that now come in.

really useful and good but could do with a little design enhancement for hand-free use
Good design that is easy to use although a little annoying that I need to hold it open with one hand to put anything in it which sometimes requires both hand. The hole size is great, it is also good quality and dishwasher safe. I use it to add cloves and cinnamon (uncrushed) and it does the job well, allowing their flavour to come through (leave the item with the ingredients in it to brew in the hot water for about 3 minutes). All in all, really useful and good at what it does but could do with a little design enhancement for hand-free use.
