How do you apply this bandage to a thumb? One side is bigger than the other.

Same as with another finger.. I usually put the bigger side over the thumb nail. It may not fit quite as well as on other fingers because the thumb is bigger, but you can always add a piece of medical tape at base of bandage to hold it on. Works just as well. I find these are much better than regular bandages for all fingertips. Hope that helps a bit.
