This is a very good no-frills marine radio with a rotary knob for volume control and a simple and effective control layout. Bluetooth pairing is easy and works well. The only thing I wish was better is manual radio tuning. You have to use the track forward/backward buttons to tune but it would have been better if the voulme knob could be used instead to quickly tune. This is how it works with the preset tuning as you can turn the dial to quickly get to a preset so I would suggest just adding all of your stations to your presets. Other than that, the built in amp does a good job of driving my 6.5" Kicker KM61 speakers and I am happy with the quality of sound. The two different bezels is a nice touch as well.

I replaced the Clarion GR10 BT that came on my new boat with this Kicker and it is MUCH BETTER! The clarion was weak with poor sound quality, the kicker sounds great and pushes the 4 6.5's hard!! if you want more power and sound in a gauge style unit this is a great option!! Nice to have a tactile volume knob also! Blue tooth works great with no sound or volume decline!

Replaced a malfunctioning Clarion headunit in my '19 Yamaha AR195 boat running four Polk DB651 speakers. I relocated the pins in the Kicker headunit connector to match the OEM wire colors. Easy way to achieve OEM plug-n-play with no soldering or splicing. Sounds better than the Clarion at all volume levels and produces good bass/treble after adjusting the EQ. The Clarion sounded flat and distorted at higher volumes. Volume knob is terrific and the radio scanning/presets are much easier to use. Hopefully, reliability is good.

COMPLETE PIECE OF GARBAGE. Installed it and it worked fine for about a day. Took the boat out the next day and was already having issues where the head unit will not stay connected to the speakers. Keeps cutting in and out and volume knob is already broken. Already has water under the screen even though it sits under a cover 24/7 and has never sat out in the rain. Was definitely expecting a better product from a company as big as kicker…. Very disappointed
