Outstanding reading
This is the best series and is such a bargain when you buy in this boxed set. I am not a huge science fiction reader but my son sent this to me because he watched the first two seasons on Apple TV. They are extremely well written and truly kept me on the edge of my seat. I’m now reading book 2 and it is fascinating. I love this author and I love this book series. I can’t wait to watch the Apple TV series now that I’ve read the books.

Interesting read
It was an interesting read. I wanted to read the books because of the series. I found them to be very different from the series, but still interesting and intriguing. I liked the last book the most, and the stories added more clarity. But the very ending, I wish it were different.

Must read sci-fi mystery!
No damages on shipping which was nice; however, the books were crammed so tightly, I ripped part of the box trying to get any of the books out - we tried banging on the back, butter/putty knives, tried squeezing ... lol. SO and myself spent a good 10min before the thinnest book finally came out enough to each grab an end. Suffice to say, we won't be putting the books back in the box.I haven't finished Wool yet- about 3/4- and I didn't even realize a producer turned it into a series, but its fantastic. A couple of gotchas in the beginning as the world and suspense gets built up which some might find aggravating if they were focused on the characters over the background prologue. I dont want to give anything away though, so all Ill say is its hard to put down, probably read 100pgs in my first sitting.

Such vivid writing, I felt like I was part of every community that was included in all three books. Scary realistic scenario of what could happen in our world! But love the courageous protagonists, showing the beauty of our humanity too!

Draws me in every final line of a chapter
I have never been more obsessed with books in my life. I am not a book reader, but I am an avid TV watcher. I enjoyed the silo series and I wanted to already know what happens next. I imagined that I would give up within a few days. That did not happen, and I am now reading too late into the night when I should be sleeping to find out what happens next.I really enjoy the back-and-forth of timelines and different locations/Silos. Sometimes as I am reading an entire five chapters I think I’m in one place, until the end of a chapter in the final line and I realized that I had it completely wrong. Wrong in the sense that the author did a great job keeping things secret until it was absolutely necessary to share, and continue to draw me into the next chapter. I look forward to watching the show with the book completed.

Superb writing in the traditional style
I wanted to write a review of this excellent trilogy of novels.There is no postmodern nonsense in this.It's nothing but page after page of solid, professional storytelling.There is a ton of content, but there is no padding whatsoever.If you've despaired at the slow pace of the TV show they based on these books, don't worry: The book blows the TV show out of the water.Decades ago, when I was a kid, I would pick up a novel and spend an entire weekend reading it cover to cover.Believe me, I never saw myself doing that again!Until this past weekend when I abandoned all other activities because I could not put this down.Well done and a big Thank You to Hugh Howey
