A very sturdy pole for a weather service at home.

Not 5-star because the hardware for mounting is for cement or masonry; those sleeve anchors for mounting are not for a wood installation but there is nothing on the post or with the product to explain that or proper installation to a non masonry wooden house.

Was exactly what I needed to mount an external antenna for my internet router.

The mounting part of the mounting bracket has four holes. I used lag bolts into stud wood at the peak of the house that I bought at the hardware store for a very solid mount. Since the pole is just about two inches in diameter, the U-brackets provided with my antennas were not wide enough so I went to Lowes and Home Depot and the orange store had the proper width bracket (U-Bolt by EVERBILT #310 on the sticker) . I like that the pole is longer than most, but the bracket needs to be made of thicker steel and the antenna mount should allow for two U-Bolts to mount the antenna (four holes) instead of just for one bracket with the two holes. I initially mounted a 4 dbi antenna, but changed it out to a 30 inch 5.8 dbi antenna, yesterday. There was a bit of sag, but I simply bent it up a tad to compensate and it's fine. My earnings are way up after that swap even as today's 30 to 40 mph winds are shaking the antenna a bit, so the shaking seems to have no effect on the transmit/receive end of it. I'd say the shaking is no more than an inch, back and forth at the antenna tip. I disagree with one reviewer in that I don't think that the shaking in high winds will eventually cause the mounting bracket to fail. You'd have to manually bend the metal back and forth at a high angle to cause this sort of fatigue to failure.

Living in a Barndo has some downfalls; getting internet wifi through metal walls; the same for radio signals. This worked perfectly to get my antenna just above line-of-sight and cabled into my am/fm radio - what a difference.

It is exactly as advertised and fit our needs perfectly.

2.04" OD cap does not fit this 1.96" OD stainless steel pipe. Wrong ID length to the cap may also be the issue. Update: Lowered to one star because this is carbon steel however stainless steel will last longer outdoors. Too bad the AI answer said this was stainless steel before it's purchased and then AI says the opposite after it's purchased!

Does what it's suppose to do, bought it for cell phone booster antenna that didn't come with anything to mount it.. looks good and sturdy

Pole is well made and strong. Bracket could be reinforced a bit more or thicker to make it a bit stronger. I have a GPS antennae as well as a Ubiquiti Nanobeam modem antenna mounted to this with no issue

Used it to mount a cell phone signal booster. Works great and has survived to big wind storms so far.
