Good use of older parts
This computer is a great deal for the price! The motherboard I received was capable of TPM 1.3 and allowed me to install Windows 11 which was something I was concerned about when purchasing. The provided mouse is quite nice, but the keyboard was very flimsy and broke after a week. The only real issue I had with the computer itself was the power supply. The provided PSU was a DELL power supply that uses a proprietary 8-pin connector for the motherboard instead of the normal 24-pin connector. Said DELL power supply had just enough wattage to power the components inside and nothing more. I was pleasantly surprised to see that my computer also came with a CD tray that was completely unplugged (I'm assuming due to the 290W PSU). I managed to get a 24 to 8 pin adapter to put a more powerful power supply in it which allowed me to safely plug in the CD tray and an additional hard drive for storage. The LEDs on the front of the computer are controlled using a remote (like an LED strip) which was a positive for me as I usually struggle with ones that are software-based. I should also mention that I have yet to have issues with the provided USB Bluetooth/Wi-Fi adapter which was something I noticed reviewers having issues with. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a cheap PC for low to mid range gaming. It runs Minecraft quite well and operates quickly and smoothly.

Great Low Budget Gaming PC
The first picture is of the keyboard and mouse which I thought was awesome that it was included considering the price. The keyboard has LED lights that you can turn on and off which is cool. The second picture is of the Tower. the only downside was that the actual case of the PC was damaged in shipping, but it didn't damage any of the internal components. The inside was clean, and all the parts matched description. I mostly use it to watch YouTube Videos, create content and game, and so far, this thing has been amazing. It runs Minecraft and Fortnite super smooth. I had to slightly turn down settings on Fortnite, but this thing easily runs 60-100 FPS pretty consistently with the right settings. It is awesome for playing Minecraft and I have had 0 issues. Obviously if you are an avid gamer with extremely high expectations and run very demanding games this PC would probably not satisfy your needs. Overall, for the price if you are looking for a low budget upgraded office PC that can run low-moderate demanding games this thing can definitely do that. If you just need an office computer, or a PC for editing and creating content this would be perfect. You would be hard pressed to get a PC that runs this well for anywhere close to this price. The LED lights on the tower itself do not work for me unless I am just not tech savvy enough to figure them out but that was really not important to me, so I didn't factor that into my rating. I just wish FEDEX would have done better on the shipping as my wife had to chase them down because they had the wrong address on their computer. All in all, this would be a great gift for your son or daughter if they play games like Fortnite, Minecraft, and lower end games and you don't want to break the bank. Just closely look over the packaging for any damage from shipping like I stated previously. I am extremely happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone in need of a PC tower on a budget.

Great lightning fast PC with one problem...
This factory refurb was worth every cent! Only $277. The only reason period that this purchase lost a star, is that the processor itself cannot run Windows 11. The machine is beefed up too, and has 16 gigs of RAM and the processor is lightning fast! I think this is a move on Microsoft's part, to force the consumer to purchase a brand new PC. Microsoft will end support of Windows 10 October 2025. How convenient. Uh huh... Well anyway, it runs all my programs and emulators 100% error free. I recommend this great deal...for the most part, but will definitely accuse Microsoft of screwing the pootch by ending support of Windows 10 with security updates so soon on the operation systems lifespan.....

NO HARD DRIVE FOUND
I bought this and after 6 month now it will not load up. I am trying to get someone to help me with the product and I keep getting the run around. I did buy the extra warranty protection but I am just getting a hard time and being told to go to the seller and going to the seller I am told it isn't elligible for return. So now what? I am not happy atm and do not think I will ever buy on here again. I want this taken care of now. I am a full time content creator and my workstations are very important and atm I cannot do anything. NOT HAPPY

Superior Bang for the Buck!
Said it would be here in 3 days, it arrived in 2. Good start. Let's get it out of the way, what is the deal with the lights? There's a remote (no instructions) to turn them off, but they rise from the grave on their own... Annoying. Maybe I'll look for the jumper inside the case. So now we have the tedious and often painful task of beating a new Windows desktop into submission, which I have done once or twice in my career as a network and desktop engineer. I retired just before Covid, so it was a rather nostalgic experience, applying Windows updates, searching for C++ libraries... Nostalgia is an interesting word, I believe it literally means "our pain." Though I miss my work, I was reminded of some of the reasons I retired. In the end, no issues my sneakernet can't handle. As an engineer, I am extremely picky about my desktop. Most users will still need to do quite a few updates, but most should be handled by Windows Update. Eventually. Any build issues are on the vendor who configured the out-of-the-box image. While that image is out of date (2019?), software issues can be worked out. The hardware is a joy. I worked with Dells almost exclusively for the last half of my career, loving every minute of it. I bought a refurb, but aside from the idiot lights, you can't tell it from new. Good job. I'm not keeping up with industry hardware, so I have no idea how good the SSD drive is (we usually used Western Digital SATA drives), it came with an NVidia GeForce card that will support BG3 and does indeed have a SATA controller if you wanted to add storage. I know it's a refurb and the Optiplex 7020 cost way more when it debuted, but I am still amazed at how much hardware I got for pennies. Biggest drawback for non-tech users is probably the dated image. You MAY need someone tech savvy to stop over for coffee and nudge your machine in the right direction, but if you let it sit for several days, occasionally rebooting to install updates, you'll probably be OK.

Good value, plays minecraft, has hdmi port
The computer arrived very quickly and within the indicated delivery time, since it's summer I'm not surprised. Well packed with soft foam buffers to protect it during shipping. It came with the tower, keyboard, and mouse, wifi dongle, and remote to control the colors on the tower. I cannot tell visually that this is a refurbished pc. It hooked up easily to my tv with my own provided hdmi cable, although, the power cord could be a smidge longer. It powered on with no difficulty and I was able to set up it up quickly. The wifi dongle and remote came in a small package that I nearly misplaced...I'm good at that, but it plugged in and worked immediately. Much smaller than the little antenna things they used to make. It starts up fast and performance is snappy. My son immediately got minecraft downloaded and up and running without issue. I have not checked out the insides, but I'm sure the handle on the side will make it easy to upgrade components if I get any. This is a full size desktop, so not one of those tiny towers. Mine did come with a dvd, I tested it out and it had no issue playing a dvd, so that's awesome. It wasn't in the picture, or advertised, so I don't know if it's just the luck of the draw. Overall, I am quite please with my purchase.

Know the right monitor cable to use and you are good to go
This unit is up and running now once I sorted out the monitor cable issue. It ought not to be an issue but it is and not just for me. For this particular unit, the male-to-male HDMI cable as provided by Amazon here https://www.amazon.com/dp/B014I8T0YQ?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title solved the issue for under 10 dollars. I had no idea the full Windows 10 package was included which is nice. Everything ramped up smoothly and runs very well so there is no drama in that department. Amazon ought to take the initiative to put together a cable manual for newbies telling in comic book form which cable goes with what hardware and software. It would save a lot of customers wasted time and money, thereby building customer loyalty.
