Very good mouse. Easy to use
The mouse feels comfortable in the hand thanks to its ambidextrous shape, so it works equally well for either hand during long sessions — whether you’re grinding through work tasks or cruising in a game. The three buttons and optical sensor make everything feel responsive and smooth.

Basic quality mouse with a good price
Sometimes you just need a budget wired mouse to keep around as an emergency replacement or to keep in a computer travel bag. Sure, the wire is a little inconvenient but so is a battery going dead in a wireless mouse. This budget HP mouse came in at around $12 dollars and works just fine. The quality is great, it has decorative lighting and it works well with all of the office programs I run on the notebook and desktop computer. It has a large footprint, but I appreciate that because I have large hands. The LED lighting helps me locate it and place my hand correctly if I'm moving rapidly between the keyboard and the mouse. For the low price and good, solid quality, I can easily recommend this mouse for routine use or just as an emergency backup. The price is probably as low as it is because it requires a standard USB port to connect (not USB C), but that doesn't seem to be an issue because all of my computing devices still have regular USB ports available or adapters with USB ports.

Good quality mouse at a small price!
Extremely lightweight and the color shift is pretty! Amazing quality for what you pay for. Clicking is good and sturdy. I don’t use it for crazy gaming like competitive gaming, so I find it good quality and the value for your money is great.

Cheap, but good.
I got this because it was the cheapest name brand mouse I could find. When I first opened the box, I was immediately thinking I was going to return it. It was really lightweight, the buttons were loud, and there was a rattle like there was something loose inside. I decided to try it out anyway. I'm using this for my work laptop and it is replacing the basic mouse that comes with a Dell laptop. Once I felt it on the mousepad, I changed my mind. It was smooth and accurate and felt really good in my hand. I'm not thrilled at the DPI settings, as it is still a little slow, but it works and works well.

This is exactly what I wanted.
This is a simple mouse, that has very precise tracking (I guess that makes it gaming?) and looks cool with lights and stuff. I bought a Cyberpower gaming PC about a year ago, and it was great, but the mouse it came with had all kinds of worthless buttons, including my arch nemesis, the "back" button. I would be writing on facebook, or watching a video on Youtube and accidentally bump this button and boom, I am back at the page I was at previously, with my comment progress permanently gone, or have to start the Youtube video all over, because I tapped a stupid button that nobody in their right mind would ever want on a mouse. So eventually, after the back button deleted a very long response I was writing to someone on Facebook, I threw a tantrum and used pliers to pull the button off of the mouse, imagining I was recreating a scene from the movie Hostile, and the mouse was my victim. Afterwords my mouse looked pretty ugly, and somehow I would still manage to occasionally hit the friggin button, I have no idea how. Finally it dawned on me, that what I needed was a simple office style mouse, but I wanted one that would look cool and be as responsive as a gaming mouse, and that is exactly what this is. It is lightening fast and very precise, and in that sense would totally work as a gaming mouse, but at the same time it only has the standard buttons that every single computer app expects a mouse to have... No need to go programming your mouse to behave as if it was a really crappy gaming controller, this is a mouse that behaves like a mouse is supposed to behave. I reminds me of the days when telephones were used for making phone calls and when watches were just for keeping time. Back in the days when computers did what you told them to do, instead of now when computers try to tell you what to do. My watch is telling me I need to make 4123 more steps to day...WTF? Even my car has a screen pop up telling me not to be distracted by the screen telling me not to be distracted when I start my car... What programmer thought that was a good idea? Anyways, if you want a very good, standard mouse that works like modern technology, but hasn't lost site of what it is actually for in the first place. This mouse is a great purchase, and the price is awesome.

Perfect for my use.
I have an HP Pavilion desktop computer. I used the corded mouse it came with it. Like the keyboard the keyboard I ran it around the UPS past the new desk lamp: KableRika Desk Lamp Double Light: Bright Led Desk Lights for Home Office - Eye Care Reading Table Lamps with Base - Dimmable Desktop Lighting for Computer Monitor Study Drafting https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D294HYQ8 The other day moving stuff around I got the mouse cable pinched. The left button wouldn't click. I had a tiny cordless mouse that goes with my laptop.so I could order stuff. I bought this: Logitech M185 Wireless Mouse, 2.4GHz with USB Mini Receiver, 12-Month Battery Life, 1000 DPI Optical Tracking, Ambidextrous, Compatible with PC, Mac, Laptop - Red https://www.amazon.com/dp/B011VG69OM But it's too small for my hand. So I bought this: HP X3000 G3 Wireless Mouse - Black, 15-Month Battery, Side Grips for Control, Travel-Friendly, Blue LED, Powerful 1600 DPI Optical Sensor, Compatible with Wins PC/Laptop, Mac, Chromebook (683N7AA) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09Y8K2HJN Still a bit small. After testing its transmitter USB up front I put it in back. Performance seemed sketchy. So I got this: HP Wired RGB Gaming Mouse High Performance Mouse with Optical Sensor, 3 Buttons, 7 Color LED for Computer Notebook Laptop Office PC Home https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08BS4MTQN I routed it and the keyboard safely between the UPS and the desktop tower. The lighted feature is fun but unnecessary. When I do graphics the large size and cabled mouse make it steadier and in the center is a push button for a fine mode. There are times when I do things down to a pixel level and it's easy to switch to the fine DPI mode.

For anyone wondering, the model is M160 and you can use a travel hub in case you don’t have a USB port like I do. The mouse is really nice for the price and the colours aren’t that vibrant which I like. The skates are also amazing and don’t need a mousepad. It works well although the scroll wheel wiggles horizontally a bit. Overall great budget mouse and I’ll update this if something happens.
