Does it have straps on the bottom to carry a tent

There are adjustable straps near the bottom, but I'm not sure how big of a tent you'd fit there. I took this pack solo tenting in Iceland, but I put my small solo tent inside the bag. I used the straps for other items only when needed.

Would that work as a carry on in an airplane? Or if checked in anyone has experience how it fared?

Depends on how much stuff you'll put in (as well as its final weight). WHen fully packed - I think it's too large for a carry on.

how large of a hydration bladder will it hold?
