Tapo L510E E27 Smart Bulb Warm White Dimmable LED Light Bulb

I have Tapo CCTV and a couple of their plugs,and bulbs.. but these new ones are a doddle to set up using the tapo app .it literally took 4 mins and it attaches to Alexa for good measure.. I would have liked the White option but had to settle for warm.. apart from that, highly recommended..cheers

This is my first ever smart bulb. I have just installed it in the wall light fitting outside by the front door, installed the app and took about 10 mins to get it all working which includes setting up the app, linking to my WiFi and configuring the app so I can schedule the light on/off time. I can also manually switch on and off the light via the app. So far so good. Very happy as I am going away at half term soon.

Good product... needed compatibility with Home Assistant server... I would have given 5 stars but the price wasnt fantastic. Good product though.

I use this Tapo L510E smart bulb for my landing light and it’s been really convenient. Setup took a couple of minutes. I just screwed it in, downloaded the Tapo app and it connected straight away. It also linked to Alexa without any hassle, so I can turn the landing light on or off with voice or by routine.The main benefit for me is being able to control it from downstairs or when I’m heading up at night, instead of walking into a dark hallway, works really well and feels much safer than fumbling for a switch in the dark.Another thing I really like is being able to switch it on when I’m out. If I’m away for the evening or overnight, I can turn the landing light on remotely to make it look like someone is home. It’s a simple thing but it gives a bit of peace of mind.The app is easy to use and the controls are clear. I’ve added a couple of screenshots to show the interface, because I noticed most reviews didn’t include any. It’s genuinely straightforward to set timers and adjust brightness.There can sometimes be a one second delay when using voice control, but it’s minor and doesn’t affect use.For the price, it’s excellent value and a really easy smart upgrade with no hub or extra hardware needed.

Great product. Very simple to set up via the App. Does just the job. A little expensive for just a bulb, but it does so much more. Worth the extra.

This is a good light with lots of timer, brightness and dusk switch on settings, Downside it is a bit confusing and fiddly to set up, you have to connect your phone to the lights own wifi (who knew lights had their own wifi) to link to the house wifi, it took me several attempts to get it to work, got there in the end.

This is literally the product I didn't know I needed. I have a few of these dotted around the house now: lamps, bedrooms, even in the hallways.We also have the Tapo doorbell and smart plugs, and it's a great ecosystem with flawless compatibility between everything.While I work the night shift, my wife likes to leave the upstairs hall light set at 1% brightness, which is just enough to see everything but not enough to keep you awake.Schedules can be set if you feel like it, but we don't bother with that. Opening the app and turning a light on takes only a couple of seconds, and it's super easy to control everything. I can't comment on the lifespan, but I hope they'll last a very long time as they are on the pricey side. However, you get what you pay for, and this is a quality product.

the bulb itself is great, its bright, fits as should, seems very well made and not too fragile.however, it doesnt connect to my alexa or even its own app as my wifi runs on the wrong band width, and mine cannot be changed as its a mobile wifi. I have many other smart devices; cameras, plugs, speakers, alarms, doorbells; that are all able to connect to their individual apps as well as be controled via alexa through my wifi, but these bulbs will only work on a certain wifi band. so, in effect its usless to me, though does work as a normal standard lightbulb just not a smart one. but still given it 4 stars as I know had it worked Id have been very happy with the quality etc

De lamp maakt een hele lichte "grom" ook al staat deze uit. De app werkt verder prima met wat enkele kleine bugs. Enige vervelde is als de lamp uit de stekker gehaald is, dat deze opnieuw geconfigureerd zal moeten worden wat 1min werk is.
