Magic Bullet Express Deluxe 26 Piece Mixer & Blender (25 Piece with Bonus Ice Shaver Blade)

I had seen this product's infomerical for years and had wanted for awhile. We get in smoothie kicks and I've bought shakers and even a smoothie machine with the front spout - neither worked as well as my glass blender I got back in 1992. But the problem with the blender was the cleaning! The smoothie product didn't just rinse off the glass and the bottom had to be taken off EVERYTIME I used to clean. Then I saw that the Magic Bullet blade is just one piece. I figured why not try. I liked the fact this one came with two larger smoothie mugs and lids. The blade rinses clean everytime! The only time I've needed a brush was when I used it to blend cheese and the cheese was sticky (velvetta). I did have to brush a bit when I ground up my peppercorns but so easy! I truly use this everyday at least once. It does take a little time for things to mix - you can't just count to 3 and it's done. Sometimes if I put in a solid on the bottom before liquid or fruit - I have to give it a shake and then blend a second time to get it all. I gave 5 stars just because the few negatives that I will mention do not affect the overall product - just fyi. 1. There are 3 little knobs that insert into the blender to activate it. Problem is when then trying to open - to remove lids or blender base - the little knobs hurt your hand if not careful. 2. The cups/mugs are all too small. They need to be just a little bigger because by the time you account for the space displaced by the blade - sometimes my stuff was overflowing. 3.Travel lids - love but they don't screw on just right - the grooves are off just a bit that the mouth opens just to the side of the handle. (Almost over the handle - have to tighten as hard as I can so they aren't over the handle) 4.The Blender - not as big as it looks. When researching I read some blogs and watched a couple testing videos that were critical. They had obviously not read the instructions and were solely basing their critic from comparing what they perceived they saw on TV. It's clear on tv there is a bit of editing. Again - I love this - I just wish I could maybe buy bigger mugs with travel lids that fit better. It's so easy to clean - I rinse the blade and put the mugs in the top rack of my dish washer (not even rinsed out!).

evrything works great, and evryone in my fam is now blending all over the place, u might think this thing is not really very useful, untill u get it, now that i've been using it, i'm just surprised a t the stuff it can do.... glad i bought it....it was this or the big one, then i thought a carrot is a carrot, more amps, just smashes it it slightly faster, so this little package turns out to be great, does just what it says, and really well, i trashed a vitamix, cause i got tired of its bulkiness, glad i did, this machine does what the vitamix did in a fraction of the room, and the bullet express is way easier to washup.... very good buy.... WATCH OUT!!!! normal wear and tare, and it died, square trade electronically screwed me, said that wear and tare is accidental damage.... so the website closed the case and i got screwed twice once cause it died and twice cause i paid for the extra warranty, dont waste ur time just buy an extra base 30$ on amazon... square trade.... more like square something i wont say here....

had ones of these for about 9 years but it finally gave up the ghost.I was pretty hard on it and I used it A lot! like a smoothy every day for years and for other things but mostly smoothies so lots of ice crushing. I'd get this over a regular blender any day. I had bought a smoothie maker blender for like 60 bucks at Pennys and the motor went out and I had to return it and the same thing happened like 4 x within a few months! so I finally gave up and got a bullet and I'm so happy with it. But better yet the new ones like this one I got comes with 2 more larger taller cups with lids! and a new ice blender blade and a larger blender container for making more than one at a time! and the price is the same I paid like 9 years ago! actually it was longer ago than that now that I think of it. I got it when they first came out so wow, you can't beat it! and I love love the new ice blade makes my smoothies much faster!

I had my original magic bullet for 6 years and it worked flawlessly. I was excited to see the new expanded set with ice crushing blade and bought it without hesitation. I purchased an extended warranty for the unit on the Magic Bullet website, not knowing I would have to use it multiple times in the first few months due to product failure! (NOTE - Magic Bullet even gave me a hassle with my basic 1-year product warranty. saying Amazon and the retailer were not "official" Magic Bullet dealers.) I have had to replace the entire motor base, and multiple cups within a few short months. The new design has clear plastic gears which do not hold up to the task as the former black rubber gears did. The cups have small plastic prongs that fit into the base. If the manufacture of the prong is off a little bit, the unit will not work. If one chips a little piece of the plastic prong, the unit will not work. EACH individual replacement "under warranty" is free -- except for $4.99 shipping and handling for EACH replacement part that is shipped in the same box. I now have a slew of cups and parts that I have to try individually each time I want to use the unit. I hold my breath as I try each one and pray the unit works. This creates a whole lot of cups to clean up! I have no confidence in the unit, and I would not recommend the Magic Bullet due to poor design and customer service.

The Magic Bullet will not replace a full size blender. There I said it. It is, however, perfect for single serving sizes and has been huge on getting more fruits and veggies in my diet. The ideal size is about 2/3 full before blending, but have had no problems packing the cups full of spinach (Which is a perfect booster to a fruit smoothie as you cant taste it at all). Pulsing with this blender does well to ensure everything gets fully blended and is necessary when chopping frozen fruits. This is nothing new to anyone who has ever used a blender, and shouldn't be a surprise. Tilting the bullet while blending also helps ensure a good smooth blend. Gets 4 stars only because it does have too much plastic on important parts, but as long as you dont grind the gears when pulsing (user error, not blender error), it shouldn't be a problem. IMPORTANT NOTE: The magic bullet cuts out after 1 minute of operation. This is a FEATURE, not a FLAW for those of you who have given it a low rating because of this. It has a thermal switch that protects you from burning up the motor, allowing it to cool before operating again. It's almost idiot proof!

I got one of these as a gift when my twins were old enough to start eating mushy foods. I've got a regular blender, but the size and ease of use made this the "go to" tool to mush foods in small quantities quickly...with little to clean up afterwards. Now, the big blender just collects dust. I use this for everything...sauces, salad dressings, marinades, crushing dehydrated herbs, etc. This is a larger kit than my old one, with more cups and even a big blender jug. So, it's even more versatile. Really all I needed was more cups after other users in my house broke the tabs off my original cups by misuse. (The tabs activate the blender motor when you press the cup into the base.) But the original base is still working fine...and now I have two.

I had bought two cheaper off brand type products and just wasn't satisfied. I was sure it was all a ripoff till a friend convinced me to try the REAL Magic Bullet. I did and have not been sorry. The difference in the quality of the machine and the power were unbelievable. Well worth the price difference (and the other two aren't worth even keeping). I loved having the different sized containers and so many of them! Makes a great breakfast! Why pay for packaged smoothies full of preservatives when you can just toss in what you need and have instant gratification! (Hint for those who want fruit smoothies - cut up fresh fruit and put in snack baggies and freeze. I keep strawberries, cantaloupe, pineapple, mangoes and more. Then just pull out a couple of flavors, add a dollop of greek yogurt, a little wheat germ and flax seed, a little milk and INSTANT fresh fruit malt!)

I had a different brand small blender that burned up the second time I used it, so I was a little hesitant to try another small blender. I looked at the Magic Bullet several times before I decided to buy it. I'm so glad I purchased this! It is very small, but don't let the size fool you! It is an amazing tool. If you follow the directions for use, this machine is amazing. It performs as advertised. It blends frozen fruit into a creamy smoothie in a matter of seconds. I am so impressed by this little goody, I ordered a second one to keep at work. I can't wait to try some of the other recipes in the book. If you're looking for a small, powerful blender, you will love this one!
