I received the apron in the time that it was stated to be shipped, packed very well. The apron is perfect. My waist is between 38 to 40 (closer to 40) and it fits me just fine. I am 6'1" tall. I am using it my home wood working shop. This is my second leather apron. The first apron I have does not have a waist strap--I like it fine; however, I like this one with the waist strap much better. I have a PowerMatic Lathe and do a lot of wood turning, I really do find this leather apron helpful when standing at the lathe turning wood. The pockets at the chest hold my caliper and pencils just fine.

Hello, For a leather apron, this thing is very nice. For a wood turner looking for an apron that will keep your clothes from getting chippy, look elsewhere. Fit is good and I think it is very well made. The leather is thick but flexible and the straps are strong and comfortable. Also, there is a little bit of storage for doo dads. I think that it would be very heat resistant, as the title states. I usually don't blame the product for use outside intention so I won't knock off any stars, but keep it in mind if you plan on using this for wood working. The price is hard to beat though.

Overall great quality and adjusts to my 6 foot frame well. Will need to make an 18 inch extension strap for the waist, I wish they or others had extension straps for the waist. If your waist is not larger than 38"you will fit. I am 44" waist. I require an extension which is quite simple to make. An adjustable strap about 24 inches in length with a male female buckle of the same used in the original apron. The extra length will allow you to fit yourself without help. .

Just received the item and am very pleased with the quality. Heavy but not too heavy, stitching looks good and length is just what I wanted (42"). With that said I am 5' 10" with a 38 waist. If you are bigger than that or work outside with a coat, you will need to make an extension for your waist. There really is not enough adjustment. The product is made in India and I guess will fit everybody there but for us overweight Americans, it just ain't enough.

I am new to welding but my good friend who is teaching me had his pants leg catch on fire long ago while he was welding. He wears one of these and I thought it would be a good idea. The apron is tough and the straps and clip that hold it in place are good quality. It is comfortable to wear too

Must have in every shop. I bought this one as well as a split leg style at the same time. The split leg was a total no go. But the apron is perfect. I'm 6'1 and this apron is plenty long. The strap design could use some work. But the overall quality is fantastic.

When I use wire wheels to clean up stuff, they always throw little kinky wire bits at me. This keeps them from sticking into me, my clothes, etc. Also great for general grinding, welding, etc. Has held up to (not-too-frequent) use for several years and in not showing any wear and tear. Good value.

I like the apron but the ties are built for a small man. Looks like I'm going to have to re-work them in order to safely wear it. If your have a very small waste then it will fit you fine but I think anything over a 36 inch waste line is in trouble. And if you got a healthy billy like me that your trying to protect then your in trouble. This is why I only gave 3 stars it would have got 4 if it wasn't for the straps to hold it on. I never give a 5 cause I fell that it keeps em trying to improve and not get lazy :)

This apron was a pleasant surprise, it has a nice color/texture, it feels soft and fits perfectly on me, I'm 5.7" and the 36" is my size, the straps are easy to adjust . this apron is going to last me a long time, best $25 I've ever spent.

Very good But Heavy

Great length, fits even tall people and wraps around the user nicely. Thick leather, not cardboard-like at all; supple, heavy, protects well. Suprisingly yellow, and will stain the clothes underneath for the first few wears.

Tested it a few times works very well for welding and if you are cutting metal.

No defects in the leather, it is not oiled so has a low nap. Straps are basic but stitching appears strong. For the price, it is a good value. Shipping and packing great.
