Fits perfectly in the crate. A bit tight, but it needs to be. We lost our original and when we got a new puppy we wanted to limit the space in the crate. Was happy we didn't have to buy a whole new crate to get the panel. Would definitely recommend.

To be honest I only measured the width of my crate because I figured the height wasn’t as necessary but for your piece of mind measure both. I went with an open box one and it was absolutely fine and saved some money. It’s a bit tricky to get in but just take your time and work it in and it fits perfectly. I bought this because our new rescue dog is half the size of our old dog and with the crate smaller she doesn’t have accidents in the crate now. Before she used the bathroom in it because she had too much room.

This divider has been great for potty training. Like several other posts, it keeps the pup to only a small area of the kennel so they don't go to the bathroom in one corner and sleep in another. Later down the road we got two dogs so to save on buying a second kennel we just keep the divider up and they each sleep on one side. They are medium sized dogs and fit well. The divider is easy to maneuver in and out of the kennel - I just wouldn't suggest doing so with the dog in the kennel as it will result in frustration and plenty of dog kisses. I need the divider quickly and chose the one with Prime shipping and so paid more than I would going to a store.

I got a new puppy, and I need a kennel device to make my 13-year-old kennel smaller to make my puppy feel at home. We used this same kennel from all our dogs. So when it was time to set it up for a new puppy, we could not find the original divider. We went with westholme kennel divider, a brand we trust. They are known for sturdy and expensive products. Amazon had a great deal on this XL kennel divider at a great price. Unfortunately, it was too small for my kennel. It was a two-inch gap. It would have worked fine, but my old kennel is larger than the westholme divider we brought. I would still recommend this divider because of the cost and durability.

I bought this for a Midwest kennel and after measuring and re-measuring I finally found one that should have fit, as my kennel is 22 inches wide and 24 inches tall, I figured it wasn't going to hurt to have an inch at the top and bottom. It arrived today and I went to put it in (after having to destroy the box to get it out) and it doesn't fit. This is not what it says-it is 20.5 inches tall and 21 inches wide. I would send it back, but like I said I destroyed the box, so we are going to attempt to zip tie it to the kennel and hope that it holds. I am very disappointed in this as I paid quite a bit more than I would have if I had ordered it from a pet store.

I bought a crate a long time ago, not even sure what brand it is, and just recently needed to use it with a divider. It was easy to install, the only thing that's hard is removing it! The crate I have is 30"H x 29"W x 42"L (approx) description of product says for models "iCrate 1542U, 1542DDU, 1542, 1542DD | Life Stages 1642U, 1642DDU, 1642, 1642DD | Ultima Pro 742UP | Ovation 1942, 1942DD" I read other reviews saying it was too small for their crate. Assuming they bought the corrects divider size (it's pretty difficult to get the wrong size they are standard widths)... you HAVE to squeeze in the side walls of the crate in order for the divider to latch. The tension of the crate side walls keeps the divider in place. If it were any bigger, it would be too loose, and your dog/pet will just push it out or knock it down.

Arrived pretty bent. Tried to straighten it out. A lot of money for a huge divider that didn’t arrive in good condition.

Excellent quality product in general, however the size was slightly different than what we needed so we sent it back.

This divider panel is exactly as described/advertised. I tried to take a video to show how I am using it, to divide one large crate so each of my 20lbs dogs have a side of their own. It has held up with them both in there. No issues with movement once it is in place either. I am able to latch the side that runs perpendicular to the door on the bottom of the crate to hold it in place and then once I close the door I latch the top as well. This was a great purchase to utilize a crate we were given, making it usable for 2 dogs. Be sure to note that the dimensions of the panel need to fit inside your crate, so it won't be an exact measurement to the crate size which will be slightly larger.

Why did you choose this product over others?: The 36 inch panel fits the Pets at Home medium crate perfectly - requires some dexterity to get the hooks of the panel round the bars of the crate, but it results in a snug fit which is exactly what I wanted so my puppy was secure.
