Best action camera you can buy.
I bought this camera just in time for a vacation on a cruise to the Bahamas. The camera arrived in a factory packed in perfect condition, both of the batteries were already charged enough for me to test the camera. It worked perfect and it came with a lot of extra items. The video quality is great. I used it for snorkeling, for biking and just relaxing at the beach and I have to say it’s great. The batteries lasted a long time. The waterproof case is great not even a drop off water leak inside even though the camera is waterproof I didn’t try it without the waterproof case. I recommend very good camera and good quality. You won’t regret buying it.

Great choice
I've been pleasantly surprised by the AKASO Brave 7 LE. For the price, it offers features that are hard to find in other budget action cameras. The video quality is sharp in daylight, and the electronic image stabilization does a good job for walking, biking, and casual outdoor activities. The dual screens are very useful, especially the front display for selfies or vlogging. Battery life is decent, and the package includes plenty of accessories, so you can start using it right away. It's not on the same level as a high-end GoPro when it comes to low-light performance or overall image quality, but considering the cost, it's an excellent value. If you're looking for an affordable action camera for travel, snorkeling, hiking, or family vacations, I highly recommend it.Pros:Excellent value for the moneyGood image stabilizationDual front and rear screensLots of included accessoriesEasy to useCons:Low-light video could be betterAudio quality is average without an external microphoneOverall, this is a fantastic choice for anyone who wants a capable action camera without spending hundreds of dollars.

Go Go-Pro Fo Sho!
I bought this to film my GERMAN SHEPHERD of 100 lbs while he works at the Boss Dog of my rage room. Social media accounts are 1st person in his words. I wanted to really give POV so I bought this. I did have to order an extension arm up get it up over this big head and ears. I'm waiting on the harness and arm still. So no actual proof of how it performed yet... I can only tell you about the box opening and set up, along with trial videos. I'll update when I've got more to say!4/12/261: Buttons are very hard to push.2: It just cut off on its own.3: You can't hear sound from camera on playback.4: It's very clear and stabilization is good (from my pretending to be a GSD walking)5: Set up is simple.6: Can't figure out how to use dual screen.7: I'm super stoked about this little thing!!UPDATE-4/19/261: I've returned the camera before I ever received extension arm. Got the harness. Paid for the best kind. NO GO FOR A GERMAN SHEPHERD! Kept losing it's firm mount, even with using the turning tool to ensure a tight connection) and EVERY time I would test it for a couple minutes... Then try to playback... It would say sd card is full (I paid 80 bucks on the exact same best card it said i needed) and then it would say that I needed to format it, AGAIN. Then that would fail. EVERY TIME. So I thought maybe corrupt card. Tried a 2nd one, downloaded an app that deep detects fake sd cards. It passed. It was the camera. PLUS, there's no night vision so a rage room with lights off and colorful strobes and black lights as the setting made the screen black every second I was watching live on the mobile app (which by the way, uses a very ancient, annoying and unreliable experience) and I couldn't make anything out what so ever. LASTLY, the dual lens gimmick they say to make you feel like it's gonna be fancy, is a joke. Dual means 2. You can only use 1 or the other. Not both at at the same time. I found no settings for customizing filming beyond basic quality and FPS choices. All in all... Don't waste your time. Invest a little more money on the real deal. I've had the OG cameras twice and never was disappointed with them. Until I lost them or run over them. Lol Then I was just disappointed in myself! 😎

The Akaso 7LE is a great camera and better price
I am recently retired and have a lot more time for surfing and fishing. I've been catching some big waves and big fish and decided it was time to start recording some of the action.I have an old GoPro Hero2, but the batteries are no longer holding a charge and the technology is getting a bit dated. I started shopping for a new GoPro but came across the AKASO 7LE for less than half the price. After doing some research, I decided to give it a try, and so far, I'm very pleased with my purchase.I didn't want to spend a ton of money on more technology and features I may not use, so this camera seemed like the perfect price point. The video and picture quality are excellent right out of the box. If you like to fine-tune your settings, there are plenty of options for photo quality, video resolution, and frame rates. The initial setup was very easy, and connecting the camera to my phone via Bluetooth was straightforward. You can view your videos either on your phone or directly on the camera. One feature I really like is that the camera itself is water-resistant without the case. This is great for fishing, where the camera may get splashed, because I don't always need the extra bulk of the waterproof case. For diving, the case provides the additional waterproof protection needed. The built-in video stabilization is also a nice feature, especially when I'm in my kayak out on the ocean. The camera comes with a large assortment of mounts, clips, and accessories. It was a little overwhelming at first, but once I got everything sorted out, I realized there are plenty of ways to mount the camera and capture video from different angles.PROS:Sturdy camera that feels like a quality product.Screens on both sides for playback and selfies.Water-resistant without the case and fully waterproof with the case.Lots of mounting options for your head, chest, wrist, backpack, neck, and more.Good battery life and comes with two batteries.Great video and picture quality.Very responsive customer support.CONS:The only issue I've found so far is that you need to hold the power button down for a few seconds to turn the camera on. I had some trouble getting it to turn on initially with my big fingers, but I've gotten better at it with practice.Overall, I'm very happy with the AKASO 7LE. For the price, it offers excellent video quality, plenty of features, and a ton of accessories without requiring a major investment. It's been a great camera for capturing my surfing and fishing adventures.

Budget without feeling budget
I’m actually really happy with this purchase. The first thing that impressed me was how much came in the box for the price. I was expecting to have to turn around and buy a bunch of extra accessories, but they give you pretty much everything you need to get started. The camera itself does the job well, and I didn’t have to break the bank to get a solid action camera. I wasn’t looking to spend GoPro money, so for what I paid and everything that was included, I feel like I got a great deal.Definitely one of those purchases where I feel like I got my money’s worth. Best bang for the buck in my opinion. 💯

Best Bang For Your Money
So I normally don't did reviews without giving items a legit run through. I am very impressed with this camera. Now the issues I have are not with the camera itself but the accessories. The only housing is the waterproof case and all after market housing are for the Brave 7 only. The generic mounts are mass produced plastic. I probably broke them the first month I had them. So if your expecting aluminum or a better polymer get ready to buy your own separately. BUT in all the camera is awesome, front screen is very helpful when you want to see the recording. I enjoy all the different settings and changes you can make to the quality of the images. It being waterproof did come in handy also when recording in the rain and did effects the video. Video sizes max to just over 4GB before starting a new video so just beware that when using 4k/2k you will have multiple videos to compress and sync together. I used the list camera well over a year, in the heat, rain, night, daytime. And it just performs. Awesome Camera.

An economic camera which gets the job done.
I used this camera for motorcycling both on and off road. On the few trips I took it, I recorded for hours in the heat for long enough I'd have to change out the battery on any camera. While using it I found some design issues I would like to see resolved in future versions of this camera. To start with the good, this camera does record at a decent image quality out of the box, and useable for most basic tasks. Even without the plastic case, it is fairly water/splash resistant as i run through mud puddles and rain showers. So far, the lens hasn't been scratched, which actually fared better than a friend's lens covers when we were riding in a dust cloud for a few miles. It comes with two batteries, and if you can cycle them for a comfortable amount of recording time. one battery lasts about 1.5 hours, depending on temperature. I tend to record at [email protected] camera connects to your phone with wifi. It works to move files or mess with the camera settings remotely. Though, this isn't a way to constantly monitor what the camera is seeing, as it is power hungry, and you can't use your home wifi at the same time.Once you start trying to get into more advanced features, you can find it's flaws. The image stabilization mode heavily restricts the field of view on the camera. The resulting footage makes you look much slower compared to filming on default. For giving a POV, it ends up dampening the action that you actually felt.Additionally, the audio quality while moving without wind reduction mode is very poor. The audio will give a screeching effect when wind passes by, whether its 10 mph or 70 mph. With wind reduction mode, all audio very low besides your voice will be low. Ideally low tones like engine noise would be kept. I think a future design with some kind of foam or fuzz on the microphone would help. An external mic is absolutely necessary, but the only way is with wires, sacrificing the water resistance. I did buy a foam block the goes all the way around the camera, but it didn't completely solve the issue, maybe because it's not a custom fit and wind can still find a way through.Another issue has been with the ergonomics. This camera can only attach with a screw mount. The screw mount blocks you from opening the battery. This means, if you set up a perfect low-profile position for your helmet with all the camera mount brackets, you may end up accidently messing that position up when you go to unscrew the camera and replace the battery. And if you use the stabilizer, getting the perfect position is that much more important with a limited field of view. You can also mess up whatever settings you have on the touch screen if you're not careful screwing it in. There is a screen lock feature, but it as easy a swiping on the screen to unlock it. It should be a specific screen press time, button, switch to release the screen lock. A quick release mount for the camera instead of a screw also be amazing. The camera could also use a more obvious warning when it shuts off. A lot of the time the camera dies without me knowing. I don't know if it's overheating or if it's the battery. It may just be an inherent issue with using a camera on your helmet, but maybe if the camera could do a loud warning, or vibration it might help. There's times I hit the record button on the remote, look back at the footage, and realize I only started recorded my driveway after stopping and pressing the button again. I don't know how limited bluetooth is, but maybe they could add bluetooth for things like camera status and battery percent. If bluetooth could turn on the wifi without me touching the camera and moving it out of place, even better.

GREAT CAMERA WITH FABULOUS ACCESSORIES OPTIONS
Akaso Brave 7LEAs a professional architect, I have always needed site and existing condition information in developing projects. Over the years I have used SLR cameras and cell phone cameras and having to carry numerous measurement and drawing tools to get existing information. INow Ican use LiDAR scans and digital measurement tools to get accurate data, but the most important information is the subtle visuals that I can’t go back to double check on a unique item or condition. Photographs always seem to not be exactly pointed in the right direction, or didn’t get a specific issue cause of concept changes. Video provides a more detailed view of what is there, and can capture items that weren’t thought of as important during a on-site survey. In researching all the video cameras available, it was apparent that all cameras do not all have the features I wanted. The Brave 7 LE allowed me to get to a video camera that had the features I wanted at a fantastic price point, and with excellent quality output and ease of use,but even more appealing was the fantastic array of accessories available that allow me to use the camera the way I want. I have a monopole mount that allows steady movement and uniform height viewpoints, a small handheld tripod to allow setup on a surface and record client discussions and important design decisions.Saving the video files in the project directory allows effortlessly recall of forgotten content. The size and light weight makes data gathering easier and more accurate. The ability of the camera to update in connection with my iPhone app was an unexpected bonus. Some of the features that I was less than pleased with have been added and altered via online updates, great feature, and makes me feel this was a fabulous choice. My use so far has been beyond my initial goal. My daughter wants me to record important moments in my “life untold family history” . As II am not a great writer, I have decided to do a personal vlog on the camera to relate family moments that are long past. I think this is going to be a great way to address this task.

Decent value for its price.
Ease of use for the kids to get into videos/photos. but wifi connection to the app on the phone is rather finicky. otherwise shots are good and quality is decent. kids are enjoying the use of it.
