Amazing machine!
I haven't had this bread maker for long but let me tell you it is AMAZING! I couldn't wait to use it when I first got it but already had fresh bread I'd made with my 25 year old bread maker so I decided to go for the pound cake recipe it came with. I wish I'd taken a picture but it was a beauty despite the fact that I later realized I screwed up the butter measurements. It wasn't all that I was hoping for in texture being very dense but I can't say much since I screwed something up. For the flovor I did add some vanilla and almond extract that the recipe didn't suggest and I was happy with that addition. With some fresh strawberries and homemade whipped cream it was still a very satisfying dessert. On to the bread making, I have made around 3-4 loaves of basic white bread so far, first with their recommended 1 1/2 lb loaf for your first loaf and it came out flawlessly. Next was a 2 lb loaf, I let it rise too much where it touched the window (ooops) it was simply needing to learn a thing or two with this certain machine is all. I could have easily adjusted the time but didn't think it'd rise so fast in the last 15 minutes before baking. 2nd loaf I added 1/4 t less yeast and that did the trick! Absolute perfection! I also made one of the two banana bread recipes. There's the more bread like and the more cake like banana bread recipes. I used the more bread like recipe. It came out beautifully. It was very crusty on the outside and soft light and fluffy on the inside. Unfortunately it wasn't really something I enjoyed. It was pretty much a slightly sweet white bread with not much banana flavor. My husband ate it happily but I prefer the more cakey versions of banana bread. I just didn't have enough eggs for that recipe otherwise I would have made that one. I will definitely give that a try soon. I've been wanting to try a few things before I gave a review but after tonight's pizza I just had to finally rave about this great machine. The dough was done in less than 2 hours, I had homemade marinara, and freshly shredded mozzarella to top it with and I couldn't be happier with the results. The ease of making two large pizzas for my family was shocking. I have so many things that I want to do with this thing I am just so excited to have it.I am a person who prefers big name brand products so I was hesitant to go with this machine but it had features that other ones didn't so I decided to give it a shot based on the great reviews and I'm very happy that I did. I can tell that the people that are standing behind this product are good people that care about their customers and will happily help asap if you need it. The directions are very clear and the tips they add are much appreciated. I've learned a lot simply from switching bread machines because of the information they provide.Overall this is a great product and I believe I will have many years of enjoyment using it. I so look forward to all of the creations this will assist me in making, and the ease and the time it will save me is just icing on the cake. I urge you to just go for it and buy this thing because you definitely won't regret it!

Going on five years and I still love my bread maker!
This is one of the best investment pieces I have gotten off of Amazon. I won’t be surprised if it is a BIFL piece. I know folks have about this, but the service is phenomenal. I have reached out to them throughout the years and I’ve always gotten prompt and courteous responses. I love my bread maker. It’s going on almost 5 years and the machine is still doing a fabulous job. I can’t believe I haven’t written a feedback sooner because I’ve enjoyed homemade bread since day one. Easy to use and bread comes out perfect. I have recommended this machine to my friends and family because this is one of the few items that has permanent residency on my kitchen counter. And you know real estate is prized in the kitchen. Buy it. You won’t regret it.

The BEST Bread Machine Currently Available: Here Is Why
I have now been using the Kitchenarm 29-IN-1 Machine for two months, making bread products almost on a daily basis. The machine makes excellent looking and tasting bread. The customer support is outstanding, maybe the best I have ever encountered with a consumer product. Cleaning has been easy after soaking the inner basket in hot water for an hour to loosen bread residue around the bottom of the spindle.I researched bread makers for many days before purchase, spending at least 12 or more hours. Since I knew I would be making a lot of bread, I concluded it was worth my time investigating. I read every review I could find online and all the comments via Amazon feedback for the top machines. Initially I thought it would be an easy choice since most reviews favored the Zojirushi as the top company with some disagreement as to model. I had no hesitation with the Zojirushi's price because the machine would be getting a lot of use and I needed to make no-salt bread products unavailable in supermarkets. Although its double paddle was a big plus, I quickly discovered a problem with the aluminum paddles used in Zojirushi machines. The aluminum slowly degrades into the bread due to excess play with the turning spindle. Also, many Zojirushi parts are not available for purchase, forcing users to buy new machines. There were also different issues with the Breville, Panasonic and KBS machines, although all make excellent bread. Eventually, I discovered the Kitchenarm due to its high ratings on Amazon. Why had I not picked up on this company in the internet reviews? On going back I saw that it was tested, but failed to make the final cut due to "inconsistent outcomes" or "difficulty in cleaning." Yet, on Amazon these reasons were not listed in the Kitchenarm reviews. My own use has proven that the Kitchenarm bread is consistently baked to perfection and that the machine is easy to clean as long as the rising dough does not overflow the basket. One issue I researched for a long time is that of Teflon type coatings and alternatives. Almost all bread machine manufacturers use Teflon type products, for good reason. Ceramic coatings will degrade fairly quickly over time. A stainless steel inner basket machine is made by only one European company, but the bread does not easily remove from the basket, even after cooling, as shown by the company's own video. Teflon type coatings are perfectly safe assuming they remain unscratched and are used below 500 degrees F. Bread machines operate well below this temperature, and the Kitchenarm turns out to have one of the lowest baking temperatures in comparison to other companies. When first operating a bread machine it is easy to make a mistake and scratch the paddle or the inner basket. It is important to be able to replace them via good customer service. The Kitchenarm machine includes an excellent detailed manual with numerous tips for correct operation. Also included is a 64 page recipe book. After reading the manual I made my first loaf, "Outback Steakhouse Bread" and it came out perfectly. One mistake I made later on was in using the supplied metal tool to remove the paddle from the bread. The tool scratched the paddle. Instead, I now use a small plastic hook. Another mistake was adding too much yeast to a 2 pound loaf. The bread overflowed the basket and created a mess. If you stick to 1.5 lb loaves this will not be a problem.I was pleasantly surprised by the unusually professional and personal assistance provided by the customer service rep, Mr. Tony A Simpson. He just couldn't do enough to help me and make suggestions! When I scratched the paddle he immediately shipped out two replacements with extra measuring spoons. Based on Amazon reviews I am delighted that this assistance is provided for years after purchase. If you need replacement parts, they can be purchased cheaply via Kitchenarm's website. Here are a few tips based upon my own use:1. After removal of the loaf from the basket, use a specialized bread knife on a wooden cutting board. Be very careful not to cut into the paddle which may remain in the loaf! One must get into the habit of first removing the paddle with a plastic or rubber hook immediately after sliding the loaf out! I have found that the paddle remains in the loaf only about 25% of the time depending on the recipe.2. The easiest way to get recipes is via Perplexity.ai or Chat GPT. If you ask the AI engine "What is the best no-salt recipe for whole wheat pretzels using a bread machine?" you will obtain the very best reviewed recipe on the internet! I have made everything from simple French bread to Corn Bread Rye using Perplexity, which is a free AI question/answer engine on the internet. My favorite bread product turns out to be no-salt Coney Island style Pretzels. For this I make the dough in the Kitchenarm, dip the dough in a hot Baking soda bath, and complete in an oven.3. Everything I make is no-salt. Just replace the salt in any recipe with a no-salt product like Mrs. Dash or Costco's Organic No Salt Seasoning. If you just leave the salt out, you will also be fine.4. If you want to add raisins or nuts, open the machine top and throw them in after about 45 minutes regardless of recipe.5. I have made many recipes by putting the machine on the dough setting and finishing off the bread in my oven. However, using the "Dark Crust" setting on the Kitchenarm yields a crusty loaf that is just as good, and a lot more convenient!Again, huge thanks to Tony A Simpson, who personifies the saying, "The Customer Is Always Right."

Best bread machine I've ever used.
UPDATE: 6/30/2026: I still love this machine. I've made over 200 loaves of bread using sweet, basic and dough cycles. After making this many loaves I have compiled the chart for "add" ingredients and paddle removal times (that was my complaint in original review). The breadpan and paddle (I'm using the 2nd one they gave us) are showing signs of wear which is to be expected. The cycle chart printed on the lid has pretty much worn off. One other thing per instructions remove pan from bread maker and let rest for a few minutes then remove bread (this is in the instructions in the back of the book in FAQ which I'm assuming most of us don't read unless we have a problem. I just wanted to make a loaf.)I would definitely buy again. Hopefully not to soon.I’ve had the KITCHENARM 29-in-1 SMART Bread Machine since 02/03/2025. It is practically impossible to make bad bread if you follow the manufacturer's instructions. With that being said a few guidelines I have found:• BE SURE TO DO THE BURNOFF BEFORE FIRST LOAF! (other reviewers did not do this and weren’t happy with their first loaf)• Adjust for altitude. I’m at 5500 feet. Without the adjustment loaf was edible but loaves came out better with the adjustment.• The dough looks a bit dry, still in a nice ball, in the first mix. Resist adding additional liquid.• Get a scale and measure ingredients. I had better results with weighting the ingredients.• The machine sounds like it’s struggling. I sent a video to the manufacturer. They answered within 24 hours and all was good. They even offered a new machine if I still unhappy.I make 1-2 loaves a week. I primarily use Basic White (#1), Sweet Bread (#3), Whole Wheat (#6) and Dough (#17) cycles. I tried French bread (#4) but the bread was too salty for me and I have an excellent recipe using the dough cycle & baking in the oven. The dough cycle is excellent if you prefer a traditional shaped loaf and is 2 hours long. When using the Sweet Bread cycle I love the fact that you can add cooking time. (This feature can be used for all cycles.) It does take approximately 4 hours to make a loaf. I wish there was a chart for the cycles showing when to add ingredients and to remove the paddle. The beep is loud enough to hear and repeats several times. You can turn off the beep if it annoys you.I easily adjusted my recipes to this machine. By e-mailing the manufacturer they will do the calculations for you. Customer service is excellent.I've had three other bread machine and the Kitchenarm is the easiest machine I've ever used. The price was reasonable. I would definitely buy the KITCHENARM 29-in-1 SMART Bread Machine again.

Loving my new purchase
I researched bread machines for days, and finally decided on this one. I have never received anything packaged so well. I am grateful for the care and thought of how to keep my product safe and untouched, as the delivery was obviously a rough one. The outside box had been smashed hard on one corner, but the addition of the special heavy duty protectors on each side saved my machine! (pic included). The 2 instruction/recipe books that were enclosed are mind bogglng---(in a good way :). Every question in my mind is in there somewhere! At first it seemed like Way Too Much Info, but when I get used to reading them, and following their instructions and tips, I am sure it will become more and more useful. Who knew there were so many things to know about flour??? I feel like I'm getting a college bread making course included! As one of the first sentences suggests: "Please try this recipe as your first test of our bread machine"..."it's easy and error proof"--so that's what I did. Everything went together easily and quickly, and the bread was amazing!! I am so excited to try many of the additional things in my recipe book. One downfall: I am now loving bread even more, and will have to make some new limits on myself! Others have mentioned the excellent Customer Service and "personalized recipe customization service. So many things I have yet to discover, along with Cloud recipe service. I am very happy to have chosen this brand, and hope to continue being amazed. Thank you for thinking of me with the extra 'little' things included to measure, scrape etc. I have seen a QR code that takes you directly to the Cloud Recipe Service, and code for Product Warranty Service. I have not had to contact anyone for anything, so don't know how customer service is handled, I am excited to continue to learn more about this new experience!

Buy it, you won't regret it!
Happy birthday to me - a bread maker to replace my trusty old Regal, which gave me well over 15+ years of faithful service before it quit 5 years ago. This KitchenArm arrived 6 days ago and I've already made 3 loaves - the manufacturer's recommended soft white bread, 1 whole wheat, and 1 oat. This thing is amazing!! It has settings for just about every bread type imaginable, plus pasta dough, yogurt, and jam; and you can program in your own recipe settings. I feel like some sort of mad scientist weighing out my ingredients as the directions suggest, which I have NEVER done for cooking or baking, but the results have been terrific so far.It comes with an operator's manual; a nice thick recipe book; a mixing paddle removal tool; two paddles; and in my case 3 measuring cups and three double-ended measuring spoons but I think most normally get 2 each? The manual is very thorough! It covers everything - step-by-step operation, why certain types of ingredients may work better than others (bleached vs unbleached AP flour for example), troubleshooting both the machine and bread result problems, how to customize settings...literally ANYTHING you can think of it's in there. And if you just want to make a loaf of bread without delving too deep into the why's and what's of it all, they have a section for that, too. When you look over the manual it may be intimidating at first but honestly once you make your first recipe it will all come together quickly after that.Even though this machine is relatively lightweight it's very stable during kneading cycles, and the noise level while noticeable is not intrusive at all. I did discover that the lid opens up so high that I have to set the machine on my kitchen table to load and unload the bread pan, but it's easy to lift and move back to the counter for actual operation. I won't dock any stars for that minor inconvenience as that may be an issue unique to my cramped kitchen.I wishlisted this machine and several others as I spent WEEKS wading through ratings & reviews, weighing pros and cons, etc before taking the plunge. All that work paid off, I believe - this is a solid little machine and I look forward to using it for the foreseeable future.Edited on 03/22/2026 to add: I had to take 1 star off my review today. I have been experimenting with using just the "Dough" setting in order to use a couple of my favorite bread recipes in my own collection. I discovered that at the end of the "Dough" cycle this machine does not beep to alert you it is finished, nor does it rotate the mixing paddle a few times to deflate the dough (my last machine by a different manufacturer did both of these things). So, make sure you set a timer or watch the machine carefully; the dough continues to rise, so I wound up with a doughy mess to clean up off the window, sides of the pan & the baking chamber, and wasted valuable ingredients because I had to toss it all out and start over. Just an FYI.

This thing is incredible and so easy to use. I bought it a year ago with good intentions but then it sat. I got reinspired this year to make bread because I'm sick off all the junk they put in store bought stuff.I started making my own sourdough and it is the easiest, freshes, most delicious bread I have ever had in my life. My husband and I are in love with this machine. It comes out perfect every single time.I did buy a small kitchen scale so my measuring is precise to the gram as recommended by the recipes. I have had zero issues. The machine doesn't take up much space. It stows very easily in our pantry when not in use.Update: I recently erred and scratched the bottom of the nonstick pan when trying to remove the kneader paddle. It was completely my error. I reached out to the company to find where I could order a replacement pan. I heard back from them in less than 24hrs and while they told me I could find replacement pans on Amazon. But in the same email they said they are sending me a free replacement pan and shipping it for free as well. You don't get that kind of product backing or customer service frequently these days. And again, it was my error. They just handled it completely.

Fantastic Customer Service, including tips, customizations etc. Makes great yogurt as well!
2024-05-02: I've had my Kitchen Arm bread machine less than 2 months now and it's already payed for itself. Talk about a great return on investment!I love this machine! This is a fantastic way to make really good bread at about 1/5 to 1/8 the cost of far inferior store bought bread.I have been making bread with a bread machine for a long time. My first bread machine was a machine I purchased through Dak industries in the late '80s or the very early 90s. I have been purchasing bread machines ever since. I believe I have owned about 20 of them over the years. I have had many brands, and many loaf shapes and orientations. This Kitchen Arm machine far outshines anything I have ever had. It is very quiet and it makes excellent bread consistently. If you make your recipes by weighing your flour and water then you will get an excellent result every time.In addition to making bread this machine makes excellent dairy yogurt. My dairy yogurt recipe is 1/4 of a cup of good active yogurt + 880 milliliters of while milk. You can get started with a small amount of good store bought plain yogurt. The cost of my homemade yogurt is $3.49 for 4 quarts. {Basically the visit of a gallon of while milk } Compare that to about $7.00 per quart for sure bought yogurt. That's about 1/8 the cost. At this rate, I will have recouped the entire price of the bread machine by the time I've made 4 gallons of yogurt! It also makes good soy yogurt, that is much better than store bought at a far less cost than store bought. I'm still perfecting the recipe and will post it here when I get it just right.I haven't tried it yet, but this machine is also capable of making jams. Now for the best part. I believe I will be able to make a sourdough loaf using ONLY sourdough starter. No yeast! It has a programmable capability for custom-made breads. I have already made the sourdough recipe with yeast. The result was good sourdough bread, but I'm a purist. However, I'm not such a purist that I want to manage the labor and precision required to make 3 sourdough loaves a week by hand. (We eat a lot of bread.} Wish me luck! I will post back when I succeed. For most machines this review would stop here. Not for this machine though. What truly sets this machine apart is the customer service. They (Tony Simpson) reached out to me shortly after my purchase to make sure I was happy, offering to answer questions, offering to help fix any of my EXISTING PERSONAL bread recipes that weren't working with the machine, and offering tips.I had a few questions so I responded. I found that Tony is the hardest working customer service representative I have ever come across, or perhaps Tony Simpson is what everyone in the customer service department is called when communicating with customers. Regardless the customer service that comes with this bread machine manufacturer is outstanding! It effectively doubles or triples (or more,) the value of this machine.I don't think these guys have much of an advertising budget, so when you see them in these "ratings" websites, they are always in the mix but never at the top. I think that's because they don't have the money or desire to pay off these websites to rate them at the top.Even if these ratings websites are totally fair, they don't take into account customer service. This level of customer service would easily turn any review into the top rated review. You can ask Tony questions about improving your recipe, converting your recipe, why your recipe is failing etc. he always gets back to you in 24 hours with complete and accurate answers. Often there are insights that go beyond the original question. Outstanding!Get this machine. You will love it.-----PS. Here is another example of how over the top customer oriented they are. You get 3 measuring cups, 3 measuring spoons, a paddle remover hook and an EXTRA BREAD PADDLE with the machine.-----Here is a snippet from the original customer service email sent to me by Tony(I don't remember whether I had to sign up for this or if it was automatic.)....My name is Tony, and I am the account representative of KitchenArm LLC. Thank you so much for signing up with kitchenarm.com.If you encounter any problems with our product, please don't hesitate to contact me by replying to this email at any time. Your customer service request will be carefully responded within 24 hours (usually less). I will do my best to resolve any product issues you might encounter and make you a happy customer. You might be interested in our free recipe personalization service which through our recipe development team can adjust your own recipe to a preset menu of the machine or provide you with the cycle settings for the Homemade menu.

Very Best Bread Machine.
Love this bread machine. I have made the white loaf they suggest to make first. Absolutely delish. I have also made a honey wheat bread, the recipe is from the internet for bread machines and it worked perfect. I have also made a banana quick bread which i added cranberry, and I have made a keto bread. Every loaf is perfect. The machine is very easy to operate. The manual is excellent to explain everything. The recipe book is amazing and explains everything you need to know about the recipe. I also had an email from customer service before my machine arrived explaining how they are there to help and the warranty. Amazing customer service. I highly recommend this bread machine. One of the best purchases I have made. We are enjoying all the bread I have made so far. Thank you Kitchenarm.

Sensible, Healthy, and Better than Store-Bought!
I’ve completely stopped buying store-bought bread since the price-fixing scandals, and honestly, I wish I’d done it sooner. This bread maker has been a game-changer for both my health and my wallet. Between the preservatives in commercial loaves and the cost, making your own at home is just common sense. Plus, I’ve noticed this homemade bread doesn't spike my blood sugar the way store-bought versions do. Buy a big bag of flour from Costco along with your other ingredients, and you will see how inexpensive this is.Performance & VersatilityThis machine is incredibly versatile. You can throw the ingredients in and let it handle everything—mixing, rising, and baking—or you can use the dough setting to prep for a Dutch oven bake in your regular oven. It handles everything from a basic four-ingredient French bread to cakes.Pro Tip: While the French bread is great, the Basic White Bread recipe (with egg, melted butter, milk and sugar) makes the absolute best sandwich bread.Important Tips for Best Results:Stick to the Book: Since this is a vertical rise and bake, I highly recommend using the included recipe book for anything you plan to bake inside the machine. Custom recipes can be unpredictable.Size Matters: Homemade bread has no preservatives, so it’s freshest within the first 3–4 days. I’ve found that making 1.5 lb loaves is the "sweet spot"—it’s the perfect amount to finish while it's still fresh. The "Hole" Truth: There will be a small hole in the bottom of your loaf from the mixing arm. It’s unavoidable, so just be careful when removing it!Maintenance (Crucial!)To keep this machine running perfectly, you have to be diligent with the metal arm:Keep it Clean: After every use, remove the arm, wipe it down, and clear any debris from the center. The Stem: Hand-wipe the bucket and ensure the stem area is clear of build-up.The Pam Trick: I spray a tiny bit of cooking spray into the center of the arm before placing it on the pin. This ensures it slides out easily with the bread every time.Final VerdictI wholeheartedly recommend this device. It’s a healthy, sensible investment that makes delicious bread. Whether you want a set-it-and-forget-it loaf or just a reliable way to knead dough for the oven, this machine delivers.

Great product and outstanding customer service.
We are loving the bread and all the spares that ship with the product it is very easy to use and the results are fantastic. Instructions and menus are simple to follow whilst detailed and full of tips.My machine arrived with a fault on the lid so I contacted their customer services on a Sunday and they responded on a Sunday too. They were extremely apologetic and they simply dispatched another machine and told me to keep the old one for spares! Moreover it was only the lid that was a problem and that is detachable so I asked if I could by a new lid to make the original one workable. They sent that to me free of charge too! Two great machine for the price of one and my niece is very happy with her housewarming present.Thank you so much Tony Simpson!

An excellent Bread Machine that hits all the bases at an affordable price
My previous attempts to make bread at home involved frozen bread dough or actually starting from scratch; neither approach yielded anything edible, or even recognizable. But this machine absolutely hits it out of the park. The bread is soft, fluffy, and wonderfully tasty; there's nothing like the taste and aroma of freshly baked bread, and the machine is worth purchasing for that reason alone. But it does a lot more than make your standard white bread; in fact, you can crank out 28 pre-programmed recipes, plus a 29th you-program-it cycle to give you the ultimate in creativity. There are beep alerts to advise you when to add additional elements like nuts or gummy bears (if desired) as well as when to remove the mixing paddle (if desired). In addition to making bread, the machine does a wonderful job making up things like pizza dough, which you then bake in a conventional oven. It will also make such unlikely items as jam and yogurt.I found that adjusting the temperature of the starting water made quite a difference in the degree that the bread rose; I had my best results using room temperature water, but you can get more rise out of your bread by starting with water around 90 - 100 degrees F. Cleanup is wonderfully easy, with the bread literally falling out of the bread pan. A quick wipe with a damp cloth is all that is required to keep the bread pan, and the rest of the machine, looking brand new.And a quick shout out to the seller. I buy a lot of stuff through Amazon, and this is literally the first time I've received an email from the seller, thanking me for my purchase and advising me that I had both a 30 day return policy and a 2 year warranty. I get the impression that the seller is an enthusiastic user of the product; it shows up everywhere, including the manual and the recipe book. Some bread machines offer to sell you a generic bread machine recipe book for big bucks; but this manufacturer has written a recipe book expressly for this model, and included it for free in the purchase price. They obviously care a lot about your user experience.Loading the machine takes less than 5 minutes, and is very straightforward. Start with water, add the oil, sugar and salt, add the flour (I bought flour intended specifically for making bread, and it's worked out great) and finish with the yeast. Place the baking pan in the breadmaker, give it a twist to lock it in place, and close the lid. The machine remembers your settings, even with the power plug pulled; so if you're using program 1 (for basic white bread) and have selected a 2 pound loaf with a dark crust, it'll remember that for next time. Hit start, and come back in about 3 and a half hours. The machine will beep when it's done, but honestly, you'll know from the aroma when the time is up. Your kitchen will smell like a custom bake shop.In closing... yeah. Buy this machine. It does pretty much everything a bread machine could be called upon to do, and several things that you'd never expect from a bread machine. It does all of this for hundreds of dollars less than the competition. It's well made, well thought out, and wonderfully engineered. You can't do better. So get one... and welcome to the aromatic, healthy world of home baked bread!
