Nice engine guards
It took about 30 minutes to install. They seem very sturdy and look great. so far I haven’t had the “opportunity” to test them out and to be honest I’m not in a hurry to do so. I know it’s not if but when, but “when” that happens I’m certainly confident these engine guards will hold up just fine.

Nicely made great fit, good protection for engine cases. Great looking. Suggest you hand thread all bolts before tightening down.

Best engine guards for the Himalayan
Great quality and fitted perfectly on my RE Himalayan. Love the 3-point mount on the bike which is much sturdier than other guards. Got it installed in 2 hrs on a Saturday morning.

Easy install on Scram 411
Highly recommend these crash bars, as they have 3 mounting points compared to the 2 that the OEM ones have. Installation took all of 10 minutes.

Perfect fir and finish for Himi
Great fit and stylized match for my RE himalayan. Good instructions, very well packaged and of high quality.

Get these--save on repairs later.
I like this design and you're going to need something if you ride Adventure often enough. You might not need these case guards if you use your Himalayan for an urban commuter--but then again it's low cost insurance during tip overs in soft asphalt, loose gravel, or if your careless with your side stand during parking. For those who like to ride and muck it up--you know "it's" gonna happen.

Bad installation directions
Ok, nice bars but the directions for installing were terrible. Things like loosening the exhaust system, and difficulty accessing bolts were not addressed. They go on but don’t plan on following the directions much.

An easy to fit, excellent addition to an RE Himalayan to protect the engine, on or off road. Good value for money.

These bars are well made and come well packaged from the manufacturer. The design is excellent and the finish on the bars matches the himalyan bars, e.g. Matt black. They are very sturdy and do not take long to fit, I took my time and it took less than an hour. They are connected through the frame via a connecting bar which is supplied, thus tranferring any force through to the other side in the event of an impact to them. Well please and a great addition to the bike.
