Great set! Great price! The case roll smoothly and have ample space! The color is sleek and the surface is smooth and sturdy. I would purchase again.

This is a great case. It survived a 10 day trip to Japan with about 40lbs of luggage and a duffle bag on top of it. It rolls great over rough terrain. I put a few miles on mine and it held up great. It has plenty of space. I recommend it if you're on a budget.

Just got off a 7 day cruise to Alaska, and decided I needed a suitcase upgrade, as my old 2 wheel duffel would barely close on the contents, returning. The Samsonite arrived intact, big and beautiful, just as pictured. The wheels, locks, extendable handle and zippers all work smoothly, so am good to go. I've read the surface scratches, which is disappointing, but a hard case that doesn't simply does not exist, I think, as the reviews on all the other models noted they did, as well, so just have to live with it, I guess. As long as it remains in one piece, and contains the contents, with working wheels and zippers, I'll be satisfied. The lock system seems a little fragile, just being the zipper tips inserted into holes, with a latching bar running thru it. However, it's not a concern for me, as my duffel had no lock, and I never pack anything other than clothes, toiletries and a book or two, so not a prime target for potential thievery, I think. Overall, I really like it, at this point. I'm hopefully traveling to Kenya in February, and will return to edit this review when I return.

Very sturdy and well built set. So far its been on 3 separate multi city flights and so far only scuff marks. Time will tell how well they hold up

I ordered these bags after attempting the Omni PC 28 inch. The Omni was much too large for the international flights we have planned and had to be returned. The Centric in the medium size seems to be a good size to avoid oversized baggage fees, is quite lovely in the green, has the ability to expand, seems quite sturdy, and the dual wheels allow it to move smoothly. It’s a perfect fit for my husband, son, and daughter. I might have asked for just a bit more space, but overall, I’m very pleased with these bags. I should note that one of my favorite aspects is that the color will be easier to locate in airports than our previous black bags as well.

I have taken several trips with this luggage. I like the sizes, especially that the larger one is not huge. They have held up well to airline baggage handling abuse. After one trip, there was a dent in the larger case. My husband was able to pop it back out. That was great; saving us the time and bother to make a damage claim with the airline.

Definitely not the usual Samsonite quality. It came with a cheap cardboard box and I immediately noticed the unusual large size after unboxed. The largest one is definitely not 28" size. It looks more like 30". It's 1.5" taller than the 28" size Samsonite set I bought from Costco. The product description is definitely wrong. The most concern I have is that the top panel deformed really bad when lifting up with just two smaller empty luggages inside. Can't image how it could possibly handle the full weight. These problems were reported in the 1 star reviews.. should have listened to the real reviewers. Received today and it will be going back today.

The Samsonite Centric 2 Hardside Expandable Luggage with Spinner Wheels (Black) 2 Piece Set has been on 3 trips now with me, and the only wear that's visible are a few scuffs on the exterior of the hardside suitcases. This 2 piece set comes with a 24 inch suitcase and a 20 inch suitcase. The 24 inch suitcase has been through airport baggage checks/transport, which is where the scuffs came from. Although there are some surface scuffs to the suitcases, my belongings on the inside have been undamaged thus far. Pros: * 20 inch suitcase fits in the 24 inch suitcase for easy storage when not in use. * 20 inch suitcase fit 4 days worth of clothing and shoes. Could fit more when expanded. * 24 inch suitcase fit 7 days worth of clothing and shoes. Could fit more when expanded. * 24 inch has TSA lock * 20 inch has USB-A port on exterior for easy device charging via battery pack (not included). * Both suitcases are durable, and have withstood airport baggage check/transport. * The storage sleeve for the battery pack can accommodate battery packs as large as 6 inches long by 4 inches wide, but it would be a very tight fit depending upon the thickness of the battery pack. Cons: * The retractable handles can be forced out of their locking positions back into a closed position with some force. This isn't a deal breaker for me, but caught me off guard the few times it did it in the airport. I recommend not pushing these suitcases and only pull them to help prevent this issue. Overall, this 2 piece luggage set from Samsonite has been great for me! I was surprised that my size 12 shoes fit horizontally in the 20 inch suitcase. The USB-A charging port is very handy in the airport when you can't get to an electrical outlet. Please note: The rechargeable battery pack in the pictures does not come with this set! Make sure your battery pack has a USB-A output port to connect to the USB-A cord in the suitcase. I highly recommend this set to all types of travelers.

Great sets of luggage. It rolls nicely and the built in locks are great! The white does get dirty quicker but I knew that when I bought it.

For the price and name of this luggage I would have hoped the wheels would have withstood their first plane ride. Dent in the top of the suitcase as well. One of the zipper pulls has also broken off. :( I have used my $50 hard cover no name suitcase for over 10 years with zero damages and I was hoping a Samsonite would have outlasted the cheap one I used to use.
