The hole in the spool measures roughly 3/4" (0.78") or just about 20mm.

Which Nylon is good for wicking water?? I can't find info to contact the store. ?

Wicking is more often related to the construction of the cord than the specific fiber used. While nylon does have a high water absorbency, a standard utility cord like this one will not wick as well as a looser cord designed specifically for wicking due to the density of the cord.

Can I use this for clothesline?

This may be too thin for a clothesline. Typically close lines are between 3/16" to 1/4" in diameter.

Is this rope safe to be used to tie cat toys?

Good question Kim yet I'd be stretching my credibility with an answer without recognizing the possibility of injury to cats' claws from tangling. Polyester's pretty tough stuff, I'd be wary of their getting claws caught in the filaments during active play. Perhaps plain cotton would be a better choice? I bought this for light rigging on a small sailboat for which it's quite suitable.
