UPDATE: I had to repurchase these because I cannot find most of my sockets. The reason I rebought these is because I went to AutoZone because they had a different brand, but I thought they would work. More like hoped, then knew they would. Sure enough the teeth completely stripped on the first try. China's finest garbage. So, I decided to rebuy these given my previous success as described below. And with a little bit of "shocking" the threads with a metal impactor, and these amazing sockets, they came out. I had three that were already stripped from using a 3/8 socket. These have special teeth on them. So, the tighter you torque the bolt, the more grip. I was able to get out all the bolts with these. Love these sockets. I tried other brands that just failed. Head bolts are the toughest bolts you will ever have to take out of a car besides rusted exhaust. Get these before you start your project. I wish I would have purchased this item sooner before buying other kits and trying my other bolt out kits. This worked great. I had to get out a stuck head bolt from my engine. OF COURSE.....the last one. It was so stripped I was out of options. That is till I give these 'men' a try. I wanted something with grip that was not going to just stripping the bold more. So these puppies arrived. And after having to pound the socket on the bold and some muscle...it came right out. What makes these so good is their quality to take a pounding. The most important is the teeth. The more you turn the bolt the more the teeth dig into the bolt. They are super short strong edges. This was one of the best I have ever used. I wish they would create a big 100 piece set or something. Like for those 4 mm bolts and those large 20 mm bolts. Wink wink!!

I needed these for a bolt on my transmission. The fluid level bolt was rounded off by the mechanic when he checked it last time and I could not get it out. I looked at many bolt removers and after reading the reviews I decided on these. These are made of excellent quality steel, and I was able to get the bolt out Pronto. No slip and fit in a really tight place. The socket wrench on the 11mm was compatible for a 3/8" drive wrench and fit with no slop. Highly impressed and glad I went with this branded set. !00% satisfied.

I don't normally do product reviews, but this tool absolutely warrants it. If my review helps another user save time and frustration with their product, then it makes my time to write it worth it. I have been trying to break loose exhaust manifold bolts on fifty-eight year old Chevrolet 327 engne, that has never had the bolts removed. Needless to say that not only were the bolts rusted to the point of being seized, but access to the threaded part of the bolt, which was threaded into the head, was blocked by the exhause manifold itself, so there was no chance of getting any penetrating oils or products to the threads. I worked on these bolts three months, applying the penetrants of every type, including various homemade concoctions, all with no luck. Breaker bars, impact wrenches, torque wrenchs were al to no avail. I ordered the tool and fifteen minutes after I received the tool set, I had all the manifold bolts broken free. No sheared bolts, no stripped hex heads, no drilling/extracting and no damage to any of the engine parts. This tool really works and I am more than likely going to need it for other parts on my '67 project vehicle. This tool is an absolute time saver!

I bought these for a stripped bolt on a Rusty Canadian F150. The wheel hub needed to be replaced and even with a torch those bolts were going nowhere. It just rounded the heads off. Bought these and they just dug right into the bolt head. I did have to smack them on there a bit but that was expected as they skip some socket sizes between SAE and Metric. I still needed to use heat along with these but I got those stupid bolts out, new ones in and everything is running great now. It does look like there may be a bit of damage on the socket I used. I'm confident it still works but this may not be the kit to get if you're a mechanic in the Midwest and will be using them all the time.

You don't need them untill you need them...they have a good bite on bolts

The more you turned it the more it grips don't waste your money on cheap Junk.

Got my rounded bolt off and would recommend some deep creek and a blow torch to help get it off.

Nothing beats real user reviews and this product had the best reviews. Upon receiving it, I looked it over and it seemed to be well made and of good quality and well designed. That even goes for the case! As a former mechanic, I was extremely dubious but the reviews were good. I had one bolt that was destroyed by some incompetent amateur. It was impossible to remove without using oxy or welding something to it. See pic! There was enough of a head left. Could this tool actually work??? If it didn't shift the first time round...it's all over. Back to plan B. I assembled the correct size socket, extension and ratchet and...boom! Success. It gripped without slipping and the bolt was removed. Amazing and definitively a worthwhile purchase. Highly recommended.

Love these. Don’t know why I never had them before. Work absolutely amazing and love that you can put an impact on them with the hex ends. Got me out of a couple of serious jams already.

I had a seized bolt on wheel that was rounded/ stripped and I couldn’t remove by any means, some places would charge 150$ to try, so I decided to try this product before and that solved my problem instantly. The bolt was 17mm and I had to use one number smaller, and hammer a little bit to fit, I used a lever from Home Depot and that was it.
