I'm a complete beginner when it comes to Dungeons and Dragons and these four books have been so helpful! At first I was worried that I would be too overwhelmed by the information inside, but that hasn't been the case whatsoever. Whenever I feel like writing up a new character sheet or refreshing my memory about certain in-game aspects, I simply flick through the pages and find what I'm looking for with ease. I'd say this book is more than suitable for younger players and recommend you purchase!

We bought this for our 7yo after seeing it at a friend's house. It's very well written and an amazing springboard to start their own campaign. We got it two weeks ago and she's been designing her own dungeon ever since, with fantastic detail. I myself am not as avid a player as my husband and I found reading the books taught me things about the world of DnD I didn't know after playing for 7 years. An absolute musthave!

Purchase these books for my 7 year old son for Christmas after getting in to D&D as they looked like a lovely set and for the price i was pleased as the adult books are about the same price if not more per book and you get 4 in this set. However when they arrived, i saw that they aren’t a4 like the adult books they are a5. Which wasn’t a major issue however it wasn’t obvious on the listing for the item so that could perhaps be addressed. However they are genuine licences D&D books and they are lovely quality, hardback with fantastic illustrations just like the adult books. I think they are great and my son has has had lots of fun with these and they will be something that we can save for his kids and their kids :) all presently neatly in a little box to display them in

Bought these for my 12yr old who’s just getting into D&D. These books are brilliant and I’d definitely recommend... however I’d say the reading age is more 10+ and suitable for all ages rather than stated reading age of 8-12yrs

These books were fantastic for my 5 year old and 6 year old. They both loved them and really got into the world of D&D - we actually used these books as a jumping off point to play a game of 5e using the resources available on the Wizards of the Coast website. The books helped bring the monsters, settings, weapons, etc to life for them!

Purchased for someone starting their own campaign for the first time. Proved very helpful!

Good little books with information for younger players or even for players that have slight difficulties in reading. Will help players understand slightly better and even interest them in the game a bit more
