My impact wrench is 1/2 drive. Will this 3/8 work?

Not recommended since you will need to use a 1/2 to 3/8 adapter which will be your weak link when using an impact wrench. For the right price you could just add 3 or 4x 1/2 to 3/8 adapters and they will probably last long enough for your great grand kids to lose them.
