Love the jam. Great flavor

This is the BEST jam I've ever eaten! There are chunks of pears inside and lots of cinnamon yumminess. It tastes like it was just freshly homemade...wish I knew how to make it, but I doubt I'd be able to. I never heard of pear jam, until I had it at a friend's house, then I was hooked on it. I am not even a jam or jelly lover, but this is what I will always crave. It is best on a warm biscuit or scone, but I never have them available in the morning, so bagel or english muffin or toast is good.

This is an awesome addition to your parties, back yard barbecues, or late night fridge raiding. Before buying, you have to be mindful, or familiar with the taste of Bourbon. It's an acquired taste. I think this brand does a great job of mingling the bitter bite of bourbon, sweet apples, with a hint of mapley bacon. It's only a small (12.5 oz.) jar, but worth it. Delicious! This adds great flavor to a grilled cheese sandwich and deviled eggs! I'm working on other ways to use it.

The only good thing is the packaging. First, arrived really runny so I put it into the fridge to set up overnight. The next morning, it looked like jam again and the consistancy was nice. Since it had liquified so much, I mixed it all back up before trying it. The smell was not as expected and I could quite put my finger on what it smelled like. There are fairly good sized chunks of apple but no obvious signs of bacon. The coloring is similar to an apple jelly. The flavor is heavily bourbon and shallot. I didnt taste and maple or bacon. Take a bite of an onion and a shot a bourbon and that's what you're working with. I had my husband try it because, different strokes for different folks, ya know - and, he loves bourbon and refused to swallow. He said, "It's like cheap bourbon, an herb I cant figure out and, ugh, no, I dont like it. Don't eat anymore of that." It's so not good that my husband didn't even want me to take another bite. I gave it 2 stars cause maybe I just got a bad batch. It was packaged really well though. Also, it's food so I dont think I can return it so I'm out a shocking amount of money for a jam I refuse to consume. Paying this much for a good jam would've been okay though.

Very good! Goes really well with ordinary frozen jalapeño poppers by adding sweet heat.

I fell in love with bacon jam at a food fair. I have ordered several jars that I use for various recipes. Sometimes I use it in a sandwich, or I mix it into couscous when serving it with beef. I love it. The price was great, and the delivery was within a couple of days.

War anfangs sehr skeptisch, wegen dem vergleichsweise hohen Preis. Sie schmeckt sehr gut und die Kombination habe ich bis jetzt noch nicht bei uns im Supermarkt gesehen. Zimtgeschmack eher dezent, nicht zuviel. Ist wirklich toll. Ich mag auch gerne etwas stückige Marmelade. Allerdings finde ich für 333g 17,50€ doch etwas viel.... wenigstens ist da kein Chemiezeug drinnen!
