Perfect fit
First time I’ve ever used ear plugs and these are a perfect fit. I always have to use the smallest buds with marshmallow-type earbuds, so I knew I’d need a small size. These are soft and comfortable. Not 100% blockage of sound; a agree with another reviewer who said it makes sounds very muffled. It works for my purposes (used when I travel away from home so sounds in unfamiliar places don’t wake me up). If you’ve never slept w/ plugs before, it takes some getting used to, and these are perfect for those needing a smaller size. Will definitely repurchase.

What a difference the right size makes!
I use earplugs pretty regularly - or attempt to - since I'm a pretty light sleeper. It's always been a struggle, because I have very tiny ear canals (barely fit a Q-tip) and have never even been able to use ear pods or anything like that. Regular ear plugs are difficult to put in and usually fall right out, and provide only partial noise reduction because they are not closing off the ear canal, but are only outside the entrance to the ear canal - if I can even get them to stay there. Anyway - ordered the Slim Fit size from Mack's because I've purchased their child-size pressure-reducing ear plugs in the past and they worked well for me. WHAT A GAME CHANGER!!! I can put them in. They stay in all night. And the noise reduction is phenomenal! I've had some of the best sleep of my life. If my struggles with ear plugs sound familiar to you, you really need to try these! I see from the reviews that they don't work for everybody, but if they work for you they REALLY work. I started with a 10-pack and am about to order the jumbo economy size so I can wear them every night!

Good for petite folks!
This is the fourth brand of earplugs I've tried, and the best fit/most comfortable so far. I'm a fairly petite (just over 5' tall) woman, and guess I have smaller-than-average ear canals. The other/bigger earplugs I've tried (Hearoes regular and pink, plus Mack's pink) were slightly more effective in reducing noise levels, but not very comfortable for me, which made it harder to get to sleep. These are kind of long, and I usually sleep on my side, which made it uncomfortable for the ear that was against the pillow. First I tried trimming the end off, but then but it occurred to me that I really didn't need a plug in the pillow-side ear anyway, so now I just use one plug in the "top" ear (which serendipitously is more cost-effective, too). I give these 4 stars instead of 5 only because they don't block out quite as much noise as the other types do, but they are really adequate for my situation (e.g. light snoring, coffee-making, demanding cat sounds), and definitely block out enough noise to allow me to fall/stay asleep much more easily. Mack's also last longer than the Hearoes (regular and pink), which won't compress long enough to get them into your ears after several uses--I think as long as the user's ears are clean, the Mack's can be re-used for a couple weeks (throw them out when they start to get icky, of course!). Last--and this has nothing to do with their performance-- I appreciate that they are purple, just because I have a peeve about the "gendrification" of colors (blue for boys, pink for girls, and all that nonsense). Sleep well! :o)

Right size for small ear
Softness of the earplug is good.

Questionably “slim” fit
They were not slim enough for my small ears and hurt when they expand. Not completely sound blocking but that’s hard to come by in an ear plug.

Comfortable
These earplugs were perfect for the front row of a concert we attended recently. They saved our eardrums but we could still hear well.

I can love my husband again
I can’t hear my husband snoring! These are the best. I’ve tried the Mack’s dream girl ear plugs in pink, and I’ve tried drugstore generic orange earplugs. I’ve tried over the head sleep headphones, and I’ve tried a noise machine. Nothing worked to quiet the sound of my husband turning into a bear at night….until I found these! I was worried the slim fit design would leave gaps where the snoring sound would creep into my ears but NOPE! It turns out that I needed the slim fit all along just to fit correctly into my ears! Follow the directions on how to apply them correctly and suddenly all the anger from lack of sleep goes right away! My ears aren’t sore in the morning from wearing them all night. Super comfortable and I can finally get a good nights sleep.

Bad
Bad … it doesn’t reduce any noise .. not worth it ..

Great quality for the price and short term use. The number of silicones inside is a substantial amount , you can re use them but I find after 2 uses it’s best to switch. They block out a significant amount of noise. I live right on a busy road and it removes the constant noise of traffic to virtually silence with a few loud noises seeping through ie ambulances yet this is still faint. If you are watching a show at medium volume with these on and your laptop nearby it’ll feel like it’s on low. Provided you follow the strict application instructions on the packet you will be able to see difference. The fit and comfort level is adequate , a little inconvenient but the reduced sound is worth it. If you are looking for a quick and cheap fix these are the best to buy judging from the current customer reviews of others on the website. Good level of sleep quality little to no disruption in REM for me personally.
