Very good all around
This was easy to assemble if a little fussy - it would be easier with a second pair of hands. It works great - easy to add material & easy to tumble. Perfect for home use.

Pretty decent but center divider *** DOES NOT FIT *** repeat *** DOES NOT FIT ***
First, the pros: 1) Extra screws and nuts were provided. This is rare nowadays, but this came with 4 extra sets of screws and nuts and 2 extra center pipe end caps 2) The nuts are self-tightening: you only have to get them started a few turns then you can screw the screws from the outside (with the included Philips screwdriver) and they will tighten without having to hold the nut with your finger or a wrench. This is key since it is hard at times to wrap your arm inside of the bin to hold the nut while tightening the screw from the outside. 3) Thickness of the plastic is pretty good for what this is. It presents as fairly sturdy when assembled. 4) Large size. I got the 43 gallon model and I can tell it will hold a lot of compost. 5) The tumbler rotates smoothly and easily. 6) The legs are sturdy and easy to assemble. Now the cons: 1) not that easy to assemble. I'm 60 years old. I've been around the Ikea block several times. I've assembled huge pergolas and gazebos and carts and sheds and all varieties of machines and devices. I have every tool. I can do plumbing and electrical work, carpentry, both rough and finish, drywall, irrigation, tile and marble. I've done it all. But this wasn't that easy to assemble. The worst part was thinking the center divider should fit nicely into the center grooved channel that goes around the inside perimeter of the tumbler, when it doesn't even come close. I think the manufacturer said, "let's use one center divider for all the different tumblers we make, fit be darned." I spent more time trying to make the center divider panel fit than assembling the rest of the unit. Check out my pictures to see how poorly it fits. I tried flipping it over, rotating the divider every which way, but nope, didn't happen. 2) You have to work your way around the tumbler, adding one panel at a time. It was difficult at times to hold the panels in place while I was screwing them together. There are these raised, stubby posts that are supposed to snap into holes on the adjacent panels and many times the snap was not as snappy as it should have been. Some of the connections seemed a little loose but upon completion, the sides seem to have pulled together as a team and the weight of the compost may push the edges out enough so that those posts snug up against the holes. Summary: I believe this was worth the price and it will function well for several years.

Great composter
This is worked great for me. It did seem a little complicated to put together. So I did have my husband do it who's handy with things like that and he didn't have any trouble. It has held up very well outside through lots of weather so far.

Takes a while but seems to be working now
Almost 8 months of using this composter and I’m finally seeing what looks like beautiful, rich, dark brown dirt. We add about 2-3 cups of kitchen and food scraps every day and lawn clipping regularly, along with shredded brown craft packing paper. It wasn’t a tricky build, ieverything assembled reasonably well, not too tricky, but a lot of screws. I will say that you might want to put some cinder blocks on the legs and/or hold your foot on one leg as you rotate it because if imbalanced it will topple over (happened once). We will see how long the hollow tubular metal legs last exposed to the elements. It has 2 compartments inside, with a separator in the middle for stability.

Nice price point, good solid composter, does take some assembly time
This is a nice composter, especially for the price. It is fairly sturdy and will be useful in our garden. It's not too heavy and not overly large. I do recommend having 2 people put it together and it does take a little time--the "barrel" part comes in panels that have to be put together, there are several panels, and then it has to be mounted on the legs.

TWO person, lengthy assembly job, but good quality
Assembly was a real pain! The instructions were surprisingly good, and they included extra pieces and the only tool you need (a simple screwdriver). It seems sturdy, but is easy enough for 5’4” female me to move. Assembly involves MANY little screws in inconvenient places, and some unwieldy pieces! This is definitely a two-person job - it just makes it so much easier to reach and to hold things in place while it’s coming together. I mostly worked alone, and it took a couple hours.

Love the two chambers and tumble feature
I replaced my old compost bin that required a long stirrer to mix it with this tumbler bin. It's so much easier and more efficient as I've gotten older. It's sturdy once it's assembled, but I would have loved a second set of hands to hold things in place as I worked on it. Overall, the assembly was manageable although I didn't receive any extra screws and needed one. It can't cost that much more to throw in 2-3 extra (they're tiny) screws. The two chambers is nice. It's 1/3 filled and out there doing it's job so I'm happy with the purchase.

Works great
This is the best compost bin I have ever had, it’s easy to assemble and cooks the compost quickly. It turns so compost is ready to use quicker than a stationary bin. One side can be emptied while the other is left to compost. Easy to use! We have been very happy with it!

Great composter
Well thought through composter. Assembly was not as difficult as most reviews suggest (once I realized that the side pieces go on the outside of the round base)

Item assembles as described.
Package included extra bolts and screws. You could assemble by yourself with difficulty but assembles great with 2 people. Directions easy to follow. When set up it looks sturdy and rugged. Material seems to be strong and long lasting, but we shall see. Had it set up for 2 days now and easy to use and looks like it will be a long lasting unit. Very happy so far with this purchase. I recommend the this product.
