This anemometer works great and you can't beat the price point. I only use the analog readout so it is just what I need.

The stated specs are misleading. The manual says the minimum measurable airspeed is 78 ft/min, but in real use this unit failed to register airflow of about 128 ft/min that was measurable on a better anemometer. In other words, it could not reliably detect airflow that was well above its own advertised minimum range. That makes it pretty useless for low-flow HVAC / bathroom vent testing, which is exactly the kind of application where sensitivity at the low end matters most. Maybe it’s fine for stronger airflow, but if you need to measure subtle ventilation airflow, I would not trust this device.

Handheld anemometer works as expected! I purchased this unit to use for storm chasing and when on grass fire calls. Mounts to tripod easily and provides the data that I am looking for. The unit itself its a bit weird to turn on, you have to press and hold the power button till it comes on. I have another similar unit with no RH readout, it will turn on much quicker. The USB data logging only works with Windows 7, hopefully the software package gets updated. I was able to install the software on Windows 10 and had to manually download several additional files and register them with the OS, there was still a driver disconnect present. Again, hopefully this gets updated in the future! Overall I am very pleased with the purchase, it does everything I want it to except for the Windows 10 compatibility issue I noticed. Solid 4 stars!

Seemed decent at first. Then I got a new turbo blower duster that hit 30 m/s before the fins completely shattered and went everywhere. I guess that means the turbo blower is good...but now no more reading wind speed!! If this is for natural wind outside, I'm sure it's great. Want to push it to its limit with powerful artificial wind? Not so great. Return window is closed, now I'm out the money I spent. Thats life

I needed a good tool for product testing that had slow speed accuracy (<5 mph) and this unit works flawlessly. Haven't used it to check the accuracy of my car's speedometer, but I will!

Works fine. Has given several erratic measurements out of the box, but mostly just fine. Not able to verify precision of measurements but they seems to be fairly accurate at least. Fan blade can wiggle in housing and if held in certain ways, it can affect how hard it is to turn the blades. The USB to computer communication is lacking. I was not able to get it to function. The manual is sparse on the subject and poorly translated. There was supposed to be some selection i could make but nothing seemed to bring up anything close. Good display, good response time of all measurements, many measurements and units. All for a good price. You get what you pay for but with this you get a fair variety. I also had the non-USB version prior (which was defective) and I upgraded to this one. I would buy the non-USB version and just record data manually again, unless I was made certain it was just a problem between the driver's seat and the steering wheel in trying to get the data recorder functions working.

The meter didn't power on when it arrived. I put in new batteries and read through the manual, to no avail. When I followed the contact information in an attempt to get assistance, I was told they couldn't find my Amazon order. At this point I just decided to returned it.

I live in a windy area. I personally can calm my windy area by running out of my house to measure the velocity of the wind. I also bought one for my sister so we can play "my area is windier than your area". It's fun.

最近の各種製品は電源が一定時間で切れてしまう機能を持っているが、使い方によっては電源は勝手に切れて欲しくない時もあり、特に計測器等ではこれは余計なお世話でしかない。が…ｕｓｂ機能付きというのもあるかも知れないけどこの電源が勝手に切れるという余計なお世話機能を解除できるのは助かります。

せめてSDカードなどでデーターが保存できれば☆5つでしたが、残念。それて当方が購入後に価格が一気下がったことは大変腹立たしい、何とかしてほしいものです。
