The one I just bought is my second unit. I bought a second van, so I picked up a second jump box to go with it.

In as much, I find it odd that the product description tells you that you need a separate extension cord. That simply is NOT the case with the 700 amp unit. It does NOT have 110 male pins that plug into an extension cord. It comes with it's own A/C adapter that plugs into a round hole on the back of the unit. The 1000 amp unit has the 110 pins and requires an extension cord, but NOT this one.

Someone took the product description for the 1000 amp unit, changed the numbers and rolled with it. The someone else put a "package" deal beneath it...actually selling the extension cord. Very strange.

If you are buying the 700 amp unit, do NOT buy the extension cord. It does not attach to this unit and you do not need it.

Does the inflator have auto cut-off pressure feature?

The J7C09D  (1400 peak amp model ) does, but the FATMAX J7CS (700 peak amp) model does not. The "bigger" one has digital displays among other features.

How long should I charge it for right after I take it out of the box brand new?

If yu buy this, yu WILL be disappointed. It will only work about 2x then it's dead forever. I bought this just to have for emergencies. Didnt use it until 6 months after purchase. The warranty requires yu to ship and pay costs. And its no telling what they are going to do. Also i bought mine for about half the price it is now. These Look nice but are poorly made, i used it 2x for the battery and the air. After that, it wont charge. I can get all the lights saying completely charged but soon as its off the charger, its dead like i never charged it at all. The commpressor doesnt work, the usb doesnt work. I still have a few short weeks on my warranty but i think imma find something better. Buyer Beware, this is JUNK. Im not lying, im not trying to defer yu, on my review i described this as a disposable unit, it is NOT built to last. Do not cheat yurself and let them steal yur money. Lets all click off this and start looking for something WORTH it. Never again Stanley.

La carga de la batería puede durar 30 días. Pero expuesto a altas temperaturas dura menos. Mi hijo que es mecánico me recomienda lo recargue semanal para prolongarle la vida al jumper starter.
