All my fish like to eat these

my mom and I bought these for the large fish tank that they had for several years. They are easy to use, fish loved them, the texture was light and the light flakey pieces are different colors. The size of the can was good for the price, ingredients seem to be good and healthy for the fish.

I’ve tried a lot of fish foods over the years, and this one is definitely high quality. The first thing I noticed was how fresh it looked and smelled (not overly fishy or stale like some brands). My fish responded immediately at feeding time — strong color, active swimming, and no hesitation eating it once it was in the tank. Water clarity has also stayed consistent, which tells me it’s not full of fillers that break down and cloud things up. The only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is the flake size. The flakes are very large — much bigger than standard flake food. For medium or smaller fish, you absolutely have to crush it between your fingers before feeding. It’s not a huge deal, but it does add an extra step and can be a little messy if you’re in a hurry. That said, once crushed, my fish eat it eagerly and seem to do great on it. If you have larger fish, this might actually be a bonus for you. For smaller community tanks, just plan on breaking it up first. Overall: excellent ingredients, fish love it, just oversized flakes. Would buy again — and would definitely give five stars if the flake size were more practical.

My fish are healthy and thriving with this food, easy to feed fish with the clear instructions and good full flakes and not a powder, nice texture and easy for fish to rip apart and eat it. This food is different in color, with the better formula it keeps the fish tank clean and clear, good food!

Great tropical fish food. You save a lot in buying bulk. Tetramin Staple fish food have been around for a very long time and they are known for their quality products. When I was a boy, over 50 years ago, that was what my father was feeding his fish with. You can't go wrong with them and your fish will stay healthy and in perfect shape.

I bought this because the label says its for top and mid feeders and my fish are mostly at the higher parts of my tanks. When I put this in my tanks it just goes straight to the bottom which is not what i wanted. I can't return this due to amazon return policies.
