Original Rope Bag, Cotton Canvas Crossbody for Travel

I’ve had this item for 6 years and it has help up wonderfully. We purchased this item mainly for a disney cruise and has been used mainly for all other cruises and are days at the theme parks here in Florida. I find the compartments are big enough for the parks and exploring while traveling. The canvas bag is very durable and so is the sling which is easy to adjust. My only thing is with material being canvas it’s not ventilated well, so on hot days it can be hot BUT it so light and comfortable I can over look it. Great quality worth the buy.

If you do a search for diabetic supply bags, you will find that most bags you see are crap. They usually look cheap...and they are far from stylish. Enter KAVU bags. My 12 year old daughter (diagnosed with type 1, 1 year ago) absolutely loves KAVU bags. They have so many styles and colors to choose from. She has had and used 2 KAVU bags but she thinks that the rope bag is her favorite by far.1 - It's stylish. Lots of colors to choose from.2 - It's functional. Has plenty of room and pockets for here omnipod, diabetic supplies, and snacks.3 - It's comfortable! Since you don't get a break from type 1 diabetes, this bag has to be with her at all times. Comfort is a must!4 - It's affordable. Sure it may cost a little more that other "diabetic bags" but it is well....well worth it.Diabetes sucks!!!! It's nice to have a quality product that helps a bit.

I purchased this bag after seeing a coworker's. I have always carried a purse but have never been able to find one that I was happy with. No matter what style I chose, I always became frustrated when I had to dig through the purse to try and locate something--many times unsuccessfully! I also had difficulties with my shoulders being uneven due to a heavy purse hanging off of it. This bag solved all of those problems! It is meant to be carried with the strap across your chest and the bag slung across your back. The strap is adjustable for comfort and is very thick and durable. This frees up both hands to carry other things; another bag, books, small children, etc. I had a difficult time choosing what pattern I wanted but eventually settled on this one. The colors aren't quite as bright as this picture but I understand that different computer monitors can depict some variances in color. The lower front pocket is perfect for my iPhone and I'm sure it would accommodate most any other phone. The top pocket is perfect for my car keys. No more searching for my car keys as they are always in that pocket! The two main areas are sooo spacious. Both are zippered so everything stays secure. I was truly amazed at how much stuff I could fit in there! Sure, I could carry less stuff but I like to be prepared! I can fit my wallet, 3 makeup -type bags, my journal, all of my multiple pens, protein bars, diapers and an extra set of kids clothes with room to spare! I'm not exaggerating how much space there is! There is a large zippered pocket in the back of one of the sections. I receive so many compliments on this bag and people are constantly asking me where they can buy one! There are so many colors to choose from, which makes it hard to choose just one! I am seriously looking to purchase an additional one so I can switch it out for variety!

I've worn this bag out in the sun for hours and hours every day for about 8 months and I absolutely love it! It's extremely comfortable and fits a surprising amount of stuff for my bird-watching excursions. Right now, it's stuffed with a winter hat, a bulky pair of mittens, reusable shopping bags, ziploc bags, a power bank for my phone, my iPhone 15 in the larger front compartment, my AirPods in the small velcro compartment, a granola bar, a small bottle of Gatorade, pepper spray, a pocket knife, a reflective sash and flashing lights for walking in the dark, and a baggie of peanuts for the squirrels. If I take out the hat and mittens, it fits my Nikon 5200. The black fabric is starting to fade a bit after so much time in the sun, but that's to be expected. The zippers are high-quality and the fact that the strap releases in the front makes it easy to take it off without getting it tangled in my camera strap. I already bought another one in case the swan print gets discontinued!

I'm addicted to these rope bags, I have three of the full size versions. I use one everyday - almost as a purse. So easy to throw one over your shoulder on the go - no slipping off, super comfortable... I fling around to the front easily for easy access to my wallet, chapstick, (now days facemask + hand sanitizer).What I love (besides the quality) is all the cubbie spots for things to keep me organized as well as it's just the perfect size. Not too big - not too small. Also - there's SO many designs! I am super partial to the fuzzy ones, I'm dying for a corduroy or velvet one - I would love to have a flannel one, too. I got this camper canvas version because it was super cute and on sale for only $25 at the end of the season!Effortless grab and go item - holds a lot, super comfortable, cute materials, quality construction and well made, love the brand - Can't just have one.I have not tried the mini version - I think they would be more kids size.

I ordered this bag to take with me for a six week trip to Japan. I tend to like to be able to carry a lot of stuff on my person any time I go out, and especially while traveling in a foreign country, I needed a bag that would hold what I needed without being too large for my smaller frame. I hoped this would not be cumbersome and rough on my shoulders. After six weeks, I can say this was exactly what I needed and did everything that I hoped.The compartments are very handy, and were able to accommodate everything I needed, and also provided the ability for me to stay organized (compartments are great and once I devised a system of organization, it was very easy for me to find my stuff). The outer velcro pocket was perfect for my small digital camera, and the zip pocket was great for a smartphone ( I have an iPhone SE, but I think anything slightly larger would fit as well, since there was plenty of additional space). On one day-trip, the two larger pockets were able to accommodate two paperbacks, sunscreen, a glasses case, my wallet, a small toiletry bag, a bottle of water and some snacks. In one of the larger pockets, there is a zippered pocket that is perfect for a passport and other travel documents. Its design is pretty nice, and it was very easy to just swing it around to the front of me to grab things out without taking it off. And... after 6 weeks of heavy use, it has remained intact and has shown no signs of damage or tearing. It's a sturdy bag alright!While I would not recommend taking this bag somewhere that pickpocketing is rampant or where there are large crowds, as its convenient design may provide easy access to everything, it is great for everyday use and for travel needs in safer locations. I'll be adding it to my everyday selection of bags, and I will definitely use it for travel again.

Un clásico de Kavu. Es la versión de una Jansport para gente más intrépida. Parte de tu outfit para caminatas o paseos. No le cabe mucho pero para lo que están diseñadas es perfecta. Además los motivos y coloridos de esa marca son sello distintivo. Y los materiales son resistentes a tratos rudos.

Just recently received my KAVU rope bag. It arrived very quickly. I think in 3 days. I love it. I wish it had more pockets inside. To compensate for not having enough pockets inside, I have been using a clear type zipper sleeves so that I can organize my items like (coupons, hairbrush, makeup etc.). Also, because I am too lazy to take it off when I am driving, I have to get use to having it sitting at may side under my elbow near the car door(not sure if anybody else does this). I also sprayed water repellant on it to protect it from the elements. Overall very happy with my purchase.
