I bought this brush (33mm) primarily to get the curtain bangs effect. Not going to lie, I haven’t mastered the technique, but the brush itself is great. It’s lightweight, sturdy and I like that the bristles are a mix of a regular hair brush bristles and a typical round brush bristles (sorry, I don’t know the names of the bristles!). I’ve previously purchased a $7 Conair brush and my hair kept getting tangled on the brush itself, to which I blame the bristles for. So I got this one based in the number of positive reviews. Personally, I don’t understand the price tag - I don’t think a round brush should exceed $10 - but I certainly like this one significantly more than the Conair one. My hair doesn’t get tangled, and the brush creates a nice swoosh. So, I’d wager I’ll keep this round brush for many years to come, and thus would recommend this over the cheaper options.
