Game Changer
This has been the best upgrade I have ever made to the boat. Easy to install and easy to set up. I have a Volvo Penta I/O with power assisted steering and with the Octopus Type R drive and Octopus rudder reference mated to this system it works flawlessly. It works perfect in both rough ocean and at very slow trolling speeds (salmon trolling). It mated right up to my A98 Multi-function Display and allows both NAV and HDG functions. Only heading will work if you don't hook it up to a multi-function display. With a cost of about $3500 dollars the whole system was complete. Once you have it you'll never go back and if you're anything like me you'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner! Not only can you do multiple tasks at once (set gear, clean fish, watch rods etc.) it greatly reduces the amount of fatigue felt with a whole day of manually driving on the water. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!
