I see reviewers make reference to audible warning. Does that mean it provdes an increasing tempo of beeps as you approach the torque you've set?

The beep will increase temp as it reaches the target torque limit. Once it is reached, it will provide a constant beep sound to notify it has reached.

Can I use it as a torque wrench?

Yes. As long as you have the room for it. A little clumsy for torque over 100 ft. lbs.

The manual says the power button should not be pressed with torque applied. I accidentally did that. Will it cause accuracy problem?

I am pretty sure that the device on start up takes a reading from the strain gauge in the device and whatever that reading is defines that value as zero torque applied. Same thing with digital scales in the kitchen, on startup they determine what zero mass/weight is. Whatever reading/torqued applied will be wrong, if a load was applied on startup.Once off power the device on with no load and I believe you will be in business again.

I don't see in specs the accuracy percentage?
