This is a great toy! My 10 year old really enjoyed making all 3 globes. I made sure she spread clay all the way to the edges evenly, and i was the one closing the globes. No leakage from any of them. She also used small sea shells and rocks we had at home. Glitter absolutely sticks to clay so i added some coarser glitter we had to the globes after we added water and that worked out very well. Great set overall. I agree with everyone else: there isn't enough clay included in this set. It wasn't a problem for us because my daughter went heavier on sea shells and rocks but they really should have included another stick of clay. I am not taking a star off for that because it is such a unique set. Also ours was shipped in the original box for some reason. I found it on my door step it this nice yellow/blue box, which was all dirty with 3 shipping stickers attached to it. I expressed my unhappiness to amazon, hopefully they'll stop this nonsense, but something to keep in mind if you are ordering a present.

I purchased this for a craft session with my grandchildren ages 3, 8, and 11. The 8 year old is a girl. The kit comes with everything you need except the water. The size of the snow globes is just right. The clay was perfect for adding details to the scenes. All of the children stayed focused and created elaborate scenes. The oldest child made a volcano and plants for the sea horse. The 3 year old made colorful rocks out of the clay for the octopus. My granddaughter made a scene for the mermaid. There was virtually no mess. I was so pleased that they even provided a small funnel to help with adding water. I did this with the children over the kitchen sink using bottled water. I did find that the sparkles (snow) had a tendency to stick to the clay if sprinkled over it before adding water as per the directions. I found that pouring some water into the clear section, adding the sparkles, then putting it together allowed the “snow” to fall better. Then once assemble we filled it up the rest of the way.

I got this for my 6-year-old niece for Christmas, and it was her favorite present. She was super excited when she finished the first one. For the adults' side of things, my sister said, "Moderate parental assistance needed for the six year old but totally worth it for the joy conferred."

This was very cute making. However it caused melting downs with the 5 yr old as the water leaked. Tried another glue then the water eould not go through..I read somewhere about the air pressure issue. I just ended up leaving it dry..terrible for the kids as it was supposed to have water in it.

These DIY snowglobe kits are a total game-changer! Everything you need is included, from the globe to the decorations, and the instructions are super easy to follow. It's a fun, and creative project. The finished snowglobes look beautiful. A perfect activity for all ages—highly recommend for some fun!

I was pleased with how well this craft went with a 4 and 7 year old. They warn that the globes might leak and urge you to work hard to get the glue on and let dry before adding water. Two of the three in the kit sealed very well for us. The third not as well (maybe it was because I was using up the glue and there were air bubbles affecting the seal?) For that step I would recommend adults hands on. But the rest was quite achievable and successful. The children were quite thrilled with their projects!

The box arrived in squashed condition and with bottom flap almost opened despite having 2 sealing stickers, so I couldn’t use it as a gift as I had initially intended to. Gave it to my kids to play with instead, but one cover dropped and immediately cracked and was rendered useless. Then the mermaid dropped on the floor and for some reason the resin was so brittle that the mermaid also broke into pieces! There was just enough clay to share between the remaining 2 snow globes if used sparingly, so I would think that there won’t be enough clay for 3 globes. Followed the instructions, glued on the cover as the last step and left it to dry till the next day….but the cover easily came off despite the glue.

Solo viene tres figuras ( Santa, reino, hombre de nieve) lo de más tienes que construir tu mismo con plástilina. Te recomendó usar kola loca para sellar los globos. Intente cerrar uno con el pegamiento incluido en la caja y sale agua del globo. Las otras los cerré con kola loca y no sale ni una gota de agua.

They were just alright. I’d never buy again. The clay inside was really hard to work with. It didn’t mix easy, especially for a 4 year old. Instructions were super easy to follow. It was a quick replacement for a broken snow globe
