Is this made in China?

There is nothing on the squeegee that indicates country of origin. The box or whatever it came in is long gone.

Hi ! Will this clip onto a shower curtain rod instead of a shower head ?

It easily clips onto anything "tube-like", so if your curtain rod is a tube, then yes. It's a soft silicone clip, so it won't damage anything. We clip it to out bathtub water spout, so it's very versatile.

How does one get the top off?

Gently grab the base of the bottle and the bottom of the sprayer end next to the threads and turn counterclockwise. When you first receive your bottle it may be on tight but it will come off. We really like ours and it is very easy to fill. The recipes on the back of the bottle work really well. Hope this helps.
