JPN Transparent Safety Face Shield Full Protection Cap Wide Visor, Adjustable, Easy to Clean

I have read every review for every visor being sold on Amazon and finally decided to try this one - It's fine - I got it for my leukemia suffering mum and she is now out of isolation and going to the shops. All those reviewers saying that this is 'opaque' and not 'clear' are simply NOT following the directions properly. There is a thin film of protecting plastic on the inside of the visor which needs to be peeled off - once this is peeled off it is as clear as glass!! As a sideline it is fine to wear with glasses and also a mask - but bear in mind that you will steam up in these and in some situations it will get quite uncomfortable - so it is best used in short bursts when needed - I doubt you will ever find a product that you can put on in the morning and take off at night because logically the issue of fogging will always exist. If you are wanting a visor for aerosol protection - this is going to be just fine for all uses except perhaps as a medic when you should be using something more suitable. Also the price these guys are charging is not too bad. The visors are cheap (but then again they are just a sheet of plastic with a rubber band) but the seller lobs on silly 99p per visor for postage - now come on guys I dont mins paying you for postage but 99p for EACH visor? You are having a laugh. Given the importance of this product and that it works well enough I am giving it 4 stars across the board - though in reality value for money should be 2 stars because of the silly postage 'tax'

The item arrived in parts and needed to be assembled. This was more difficult than expected and it was not made clear at the purchase point. One of the item arrived broken because in my view the packaging was not sturdy enough and I had difficulty convincing the seller of this as they insisted on photographic evidence which I could not provide. Eventually, they yielded and sent me a replacement. Overall, the item, when properly assembled, is well made and reasonable value for money.

This mask is comfortable to wear as it lightweight and can easily be seen through due to the sheerness of the screen. It’s ideal if you wear glasses as they steam up when wearing a face mask but the screen on the visor doesn’t get steamed up when wearing glasses. I would imagine it would be ideal for people who have asthma too as it doesn’t restrict your breathing. Finally as Covid is spread by air born particles I know my whole face is covered rather than just my nose and mouth so feel much more protected.

I write this review based on my decades of reviewing and consumer experiences. I have had experiences and use of face masks etc b4 this covid 19 appeared so am able to make comparisons. I have bought several of this design from differing suppliers dependant upon availability. Prices at the time of purchase were morally out of control. The mask does its job. Adjustable to fit many different users and important does not lead to glasses steaming up as with a nose and mouth mask. Therein lies a difficulty because I need glasses for reading only thus in a supermarket am generally unable to read a label or wearing reading glasses with distorted vision over 5/6 feet. Cannot put glasses on / off as with a mask. The adjustability is adequate but rubs on either side of my head causing discomfort. Overall, if obtained at a reasonable cost as opposed to the profiteering it will fulfill its purpose with plus and minus as above. Delivered is handy if prompt

Face shield arrived badly creased and dented. Didn’t appear to have been damaged in transit because the envelope it came in wasn’t creased or dented. Seller offered a return only if I paid postage to China! The cost of this would be more than the item is worth so I am left with a face shield which I can’t easily see through and which I cannot use. It is a waste of money and I will be unlikely to buy anything direct from China again.

My face shield arrived very quickly, in a flat cardboard box so it didn’t get creased or dented. All I had to do was peel off the backing strip of the foam so I could stick it to the face shield, then peel off the protective film from the face shield. Perfect comfort. I can wear my glasses behind the shield. I can breathe normally which is a must for me as I am asthmatic and the normal face masks make me very hot and lightheaded. I just ordered another 2 for family members. Definitely a 5 star product.

I Ordered one of these for my wife as part of her PPE for work. It arrived very quickly. She has had it a couple of weeks now and she loves it. At first she was not impressed as it was not very clear. This was due to me not removing the protective film coverings. Once they were removed it improved the clarity no end. As she is currently unable to work. She has been using it at home while she develops nail designs ready for when she can reopen her nail business. I have recently ordered her two more as she is that impressed and for the price what more can I say. They are highly recommended.

It works well as I have to wear it for a long period of time. It does get cleaned, but notice the plastic wearing and sometimes a misty view. But good to keep you protected.
