The perfect jug to recyle oil!
Great container, durable and well made. This is my second. The first one I bought is still working well after many years and it has sat in the sun for many years with no cracking, fading, or leakage, etc. That has impressed me and makes it so I dont' have to store used oil in my garage or shed. I loved it so well, i bought another! They are just the right size to hold plenty yet easy enough to take to the oil recycle drop off and not have it leak in my truck!

perfect for my use
since oreilys started requiring me to have an oil recycle jug instead of my milk gallon jugs, these work perfect

Awesome little used oil container!
Works great as intended! Sure you can use your old oil jugs to put your used oil back into but the wide mouth on this jug is great! The quality was good, it's about as thick as a gas can. Easy to use with no leaking( I have seen so far) when transporting oil.

Very disappointed
This product is definitely not worth the price. A large liquid detergent jug is more dense. The lid is very cheap and be careful you don’t puncture your fingers as the edges are sharp. Don’t waste your money.

Handy to have around
As the previous reviewer noted, "it is what it is". This container will easily hold 12 quarts (3 gal.) of spent oil. I'm honestly not sure who all the folks are pouring it into their back yards, but unless you use your old oil for dipping fence posts to keep 'em from rotting (yes, that works), then this saves you from the practice of having old detergent bottles and whatnot laying around with old oil in them. As for the construction, I've knocked off a star because I feel like the plastic is a bit thin. I'd rather have seen a heavier mil (gauge) plastic used, so I don't feel like if I drop it or ram it with something that it'll spit in two. But it's well marked and easy to carry. And the black color means you don't have another cruddy looking bottle sitting around the garage. The wide "mouth" makes it fairly easy to fill with oil from your drain pan. If you are a DIY oil changer (autos, mowers, etc.) then this is definitely handy to have around!
