Xgunion Professional Beekeeper Suit with Jacket Pants and Gloves

I am very allergic to wasps and similar. I had to clear a grown over flower bed that was infested with wasps. This worked very well to protect my face and arms. No stings despite several of them trying to get my face. I am not sure it would have protected my legs or torso as it was a little too tight, but I am loosing weight and it will be fine when it is more loose fitting. I wear a size 2X and am 5"3. The top was just fine, but I am heavier in my bottom half. I have large hips and this was almost too tight for me, but I got it on and was able to bend over without any seams splitting for the few hours I wore it. If you are close to a 1X or even a Large, this would be ideal for you. This isn't going to be sturdy enough for frequent use, but I didn't need that and even if it starts to fail, the gloves and hat appear to be plenty sturdy and will provide most of the protection. Very happy with the soft leather gloves. I was able to grasp weeds well. This isn't durable enough for a lot of thorns (I had some), but it hung in there. Do wear a baseball hat under this hat to give more protection to the top of your head and keep it in place better so you can see. Temperature was pretty good in it. It was a very hot Texas morning and while it was warm, it was not as bad as I expected, it's a fairly loose weave. Bonus that it protects you from sun pretty well too. The stress reduction of knowing they couldn't sting me was well worth the price and the little bit of extra warmth during the project.

GREAT quality for the price. Cost us, in total, with soap etc. 25% of the cost of the professional our neighbor hired (which I would recommend a professional if you're not a do-it-yourself type - THIS IS NO JOKE - my husband got stung 2x before getting the suit and it can be dangerous and life threatening to approach a yellow jacket's nest ill prepared). He also watched a lot of videos. We learned to handle it in the evening when they're asleep - not during the day. The yellow jacket hive was in the ground with what appeared to be just a hole in our yard. He drowned them with dish soap, used a wet vac to vacuum them up, then dug up the nest (which can be 4 feet deep) - NO BEE STINGS with this suit which we're happy to have since we're seeing more nests in the neighborhood and may need to use again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE SUIT FOR U.S. East Coast YELLOW JACKET NEST. Do not, do not approach yellow jacket nest (they are aggressive and chased him-they will chase you!) without a suit for yellow jackets or call the professional..not worth it. Our only experience is with yellow jackets and cannot speak to the effectiveness of the suit in other situations. Do your research.

This looks like a nice bee suit. I’ve never had one so I don’t know as far as quality or thickness of material. I will say, I usually wear an xl and for something like this I would order a xxl for myself. Several reviews said it runs small. I didn’t buy this for myself but for a mannequin display in my shop with bee products. I was thinking of getting these to sell in my shop. But just looking at this one on the mannequin; I think they run VERY small. But is very nice. The hat zips to the shirt, and the shirt has elastic at the waist and cuffs of sleeves and the pants are elastic at the waist and ankles. So the shirt and pants overlap each other. The gloves are long and come up over the sleeves of the shirt and have elastic in the ends of the gloves. * I just double checked: I ordered a a xl-xxl but it runs like a Medium in size.

Used to get rid of in ground hornets nest. First time doing this. I am 5'-7", 220 lbs, this would fit a bigger man. I bought the XXL All hands, waste and feet have strong elastic, no hornets got through. Gloves are very nice, thick leather, thick cloth goes up to your elbow with strong elastic. Upper body has good net mask, the head top can be unzipped and flipped to the rear like a hoodie if you need to get to your face or head. I chose to wear a hat under neath because I was afraid the hornets would sting my head. The cloth is thick and the hornets stingers did not have a chance. I literally stood at the nest spraying and praying, thousands of hornets buzzed and hit me, was kinda worried at first (had never done this), but the suit protects you 100%. The hornets covered me like crazy to defend their nest. I shoveled the nest around, kept spraying, hopefully the 10 cans of Spectracide works. If not, I will buy the dust. All in all, this suit is perfect. I bagged it back up, put it on a shelf for the next hornets nest (if any) I need to get rid of.

The suit is very effective, a complete package, and reasonably comfortable. *The headpiece is one piece, comfortable, works very well. *The gloves are well made and large enough to work for me. (Im an xxl) *The jacket is good for the price point, same with the pants. I did get in /out of an XL without too much of an issue. (I'm a x-xxl shirt, 38 waist, 7-3/8 hat) @ 6'2 240lbs *jacket is snug, but fit *pants ok Breathability is GOOD. I used it 95°+ without any issue Overall- Great value, good choice. Had a hive of wasps make a home in the corner of a window. After hearing it would be $200-300 to remove, I decided to hop on Amazon, find protection, and send my son to war. We felt incredibly bad doing this to them when they actually didn’t ever bother or sting us. But with my nieces and nephews coming and going through the house, I could not chance them disturbing these guys and getting hurt. Because the suit was so light weight, we feared it wasn’t enough so he layered on plenty of clothes underneath to the point we was a sweaty mess. He wore two face masks and his glasses. I then wrapped tape around his waist, wrists, and ankles. Glad I did because when he came down, he had one on the back of his waist and one on his ankle as if they were looking for an entry point. He said one layer of clothing underneath would have prob been enough as they never penetrated his suit. He removed hive with a garbage bag and proceeded to hit the stragglers with a fly swatter and sprayed some with a soap and water mixture. I expected this to be harder than it was but they weren’t as aggressive as I thought they would be. Good value for the money and we have a suit now in case we have need of it again.

Rips easy by arm pits but before ripping it did protect me pretty good

I was at first very skeptical of this product because it was so inexpensive compared to the other bee suits. But I ordered it since I just had one large hornets nest to get rid of since they had attacked us before, I even knew they were there! So I put on my bee suit and make sure the elastic was tight and overlapping all items of clothing so there was no opening, and I armed myself with. a bee spray that shot a long ways . The bees did swarm around me, but I never got stung and I was able to get rid of the nest so they would not hurt my grandchildren. I found one bee stinging my outfit, but I never was touched, and I found a stinger in my bee suit ….stuck in it, but I was never stung. Very nicely made. I think it seems sturdy. I love the elastic around every part of clothing as part of the suit around the waist, pants and shirt, and around the wrist and ankles and the bee hat and net was zipped to that shirt. I am 5’ 2” tall and that outfit fit great My grandson tried it on. He’s 6’ and . It was a tad bit short on him if he moved too much …..at his waist.

I love this suit. It keeps me covered and mosquitoes can't bite thru it. Now I can work in the garden without fear of being eaten alive!
