Delivered with manufacturing defect, seller refused to fix
The grease trap appeared to be in good shape when we first received it. Unfortunately after installing, a small manufacturing defect where there was a missing weld resulted in a massive leak with related cleanup costs. Our usual handyman was able to uninstall, weld a fix in place, and reinstall, but not without expensive downtime. The seller has refused to make this right and is apparently comfortable with customers having a very poor experience. Would absolutely caution any unsuspecting buyers to look elsewhere.

Sloppy fit
This grease interceptor is just okay...after all, it's really a fairly simple steel box. Where the problem lies is the lid and gasket don't fit well. Each corner of the lid has a slight curl which, when added to the poor fitting gasket, prevents a proper seal. It emits foul smelling odors! Upon contacting the manufacturer I was handed off to answering machine after answering machine which usually ended with, "Hello, this is Sheila, from Accounting, please leave a message". After nearly a dozen calls, I finally got someone who informed me they don't carry any parts or materials for this unit..."So sorry, sir". I had to research gasket material, purchase it online and now I'm waiting for it to arrive.
