It does a solid job of thinning out mucus and making coughs more productive, which helped me feel less “stuck” in my chest. I like that the tablets are small and easy to swallow compared to some larger over-the-counter pills. The value pack is generous at 200 tablets, making it convenient to have on hand for cold and allergy season without running out quickly. One thing to keep in mind is the dosing—you need to take it every 4 hours, which means remembering multiple doses throughout the day. I decided to try this product to see if it would help me. In fact, it worked very fast and very well the first time I took one and one pill lasted for most of the day. The only negative was the slightly unpleasant taste. But that is no big deal.

These tablets arrived on a timely basis and do NOT have the usual weird taste that guaifenesin tablets seem to have. The one thing about them that is a MAJOR ISSUE for me is that THEY ARE HUGE! And I mean 7/8 of an inch long, 1/2 inch wide and 1/4 of an inch high. They have some sort of coating on them but it not slick enough to make them easy to swallow. They are VERY DIFFCULT to swallow and I can usually swallow a handful of pills with ease. The price for them is reasonable but they need to used by someone who's throat is wider than mine .If you have ever had dental impressions made, if they used a medium or large tray, you should be fine. They had to use the smallest pediatric trays for mine.
