Must have set for frontend work on a vehicle
Well-made tools from OTC which came in handy for removing two outer tie-rod end and a pitman arm on an old, rusted out truck I was working on. I haven't used all the tools in the set yet but I'm sure I won't be disappointed when I do.

Works on Ram 3500
Needed to pull the draglink off a 2018 Ram 3500 to install a Synergy Replacement. Used some WD 40 on the threads of the puller before I used it but that was not a good choice, the puller started dragging on its threads and popping. Took it off and used a good grease on the threads and it worked smoothly. Both ends of the draglink came loose pretty smoothly. One thing that did happen when removing my draglink was that the threads deformed on the pitman arm end of the draglink before it finally let go from the pitman arm. Not really a big deal because I was replacing the draglink anyway. Be sure that you partially install the nut back on the wheel end of the draglink so that it does not hit you in the head or drop to the ground when it comes loose. The other Pullers in this set seem to be well made and I expect they will work just as well as the one I needed. OTC tools are very well made.

Nice kit, nice price
I'm not a professional mechanic, just an avid DIY'er who likes to work on his own cars and those of friends. Because of that, I don't like not having the right tool to do job. Nobody want's to be the friend that says he can fix your car, but really can't when asked. Also, you don't want to be the guy that whips out a big hammer (a framing hammer is perfect) and starts clobbering on their suspension parts trying to get things apart. I realize I don't need this kit often, but when I do it's great. I've used it to separate several ball joints and tie rod ends and it's worked flawless. I've got several other OTC tools/kits in my garage and I've been impressed with them. Combined with the other positive reviews online for this kit in particular (and OTC in general), I didn't hesitate when buying. ###UPDATE Feb 2017### I've used this kit about a dozen times now and it's performed like a champ each time. Gone are the days of beating the snot out of things with a big hammer trying to get things apart. Love this tool set.

Quality tools
There are lots of cheaper tool kits out there but this is a high quality tool kit. This set was recommended by a mechanic friend and it did not disappoint. Having the right tool is so important and these are perfect for ball joints and pulling Pitman and Idler arms.

Very nice, useful set
This set includes useful tools for doing many suspension related repairs. I ordered this one rather than the Alltrade one because I viewed OTC as better. Although the tools are very good, I'm not as confident in that as before. I previously had a Powerbuilt (aka Alltrade) tie rod puller, the same as one of the items in this set, and the toolmaking & finish is slightly better on the Powerbuilt than these OTC tools. I got that tool several years ago, so maybe not a fair present day comparison. Where these fell short on fit and finish were the smoothness and overall sharpness of the forging. These tools had slightly high and low spots, and curves were not entirely smooth and well struck. Minor issues, but better tools show the attention to detail. These tools are hefty and rugged, however, and will stand up to lots of use. There is no doubting their stoutness. The ball joint tool has a particularly useful feature, in that it has two pivot points, and you can select which one works best for what you are working on, and switching it easy. Not many ball joint tools have this, and it makes it more versatile and comparable to the special tools you can get from car manufacturers. Overall, very good set with some minor issues that don't get in the way of it's usefulness.

Very happy
I bought this kit out of desperation when I couldnt remove a front right hand side lower ball joint on a 2001 Suzuki Grand Vitara. I had tried 3 other ball joint pullers (from a friend that works at a college who works in the automotive department) and *all* failed to meet expectations. They either kept slipping off as i added the tension, or they just didnt fit at all. I then saw this kit and decided i would purchase it out of sheer desperation, thinking I could at least try them all before knowing i was defeated. However when I got the product, i only tried the leaver type ball joint puller, and my ball joint separated easily! (one of the previous pullers i had borrowed was a leaver type as well!) As yet ive not even used any other pullers in this kit! So am very with this kit It was well worth the expense of buying the kit from the USA, and having it shipped here to Australia instead of getting my car put on a tow truck and having the ball joint separated at an automotive shop - then having the problems associated with getting the car back to me without the front rhs strut not being installed anymore! (ie no wheel). Im looking forward to taking use of the other tools in the kit as well in the future.

Excellent Quality
I've been rebuilding a 72 Nova. Rusty ball joint ends, tie rods, steering pitman arm, and spindles all came out effortlessly with this kit. Very pleased with the quality and ease of use. Feels durable just not Snap-on level, I use a wrench and go slow, no impact for me when using this.

Buena calidad.
Excelente herramienta que no te puede faltar al reparar suspensiรณn, hace el trabajo mรกs limpio y rรกpido, sรณlo el acabado deja que desear ya que no es muy fino para la marca que es honestamente parece herramienta china.

Good selection
This by no means is the end all be all of adapters, but it has a good selection to get you started and are good quality. Depending what car you are working on you may find some of these tools to big to fit in the front or rear of the suspension, but for the most part, great kit.

Does the job. Not the highest quality overall
Can't comment on long term durability. The castings are very rough. I'm a little surprised being from OTC. I have some of their other tools and was expecting better I guess. Case is very cheap. clasps dont lock after 1 use. Threads are not tight so screw portions wanders a bit (not really a big issue but indicative of the overall quality may not hold under extreme load?). Decent tools for the price. If you want top quality, the price will be higher accordingly. I'm not a professional mechanic so I hope this will stand up to occasional use.
