First, please read below my follow-up. I contacted the seller and they were amazing. Took care of my issue and all my concerns. I just updated from a 1 Star to 4 Star Review. Why? The seller provided great customer service. However, I cannot give this product a 5 Star Review because I can't know for certain that the label issue has been resolved. Not sure how I would know it's been taken care of. I read several reviews with the same issue, however, the overwhelming majority of reviews do not mention the labeling issue I had. The seller sent me the correct label, so I have to believe that I have the correct Oxygen Back Flow Preventer. I was going to wait to post this until after I heard back from the seller. However, I think it's a real safety issue that needs to be addressed now. I bought these back in June of 2026 and went to install them today. I always assume Acetylene is marked by the color red and one of these is marked in red and says Acetylene on the label as it should. I looked at the Blue one and assumed it was for the Oxyen Regulator. Maybe it is, but it's clearly marked with the word Acetylene (see picture). I read one other review that noticed the same issue and maybe there are more. This is ridiculous! Were their quality control people asleep or non existent? You would think that when dealing with highly explosive gases and accelerents this company would have it's ____ together (you fill in the blank). Especially since the flashback specs for acetylene and oxygen are NOT the same--you need a specific flashback device for each. All that said I'm assuming that they just made an error while printing the labels and whoever put them on could not read English--can't say for sure. They are different as the Acetylene is Left Handed thread and the other one is not. But wouldn't be nice not to have to guess if you're putting yourself and others in a potentially dangerous situation. Just my two cents. I will update once I hear back from the seller (if I ever do).

I use these for my smith little torch in my silver smithing studio, they connect at the regulator. No leak detected after installing, good fit. And for a fraction of the price for the smith version I think they are a great deal. Im not sure how well they hold up with time but for safety reasons I replace my arrestors every couple years anyway regardless of the brand so might as well get the cost effective ones.

These will help you not blow yourself up. One of mine leaked from the body after a few months so I contacted the seller and was promptly sent a replacement at no cost. They stand behind their product!

Excellent product

I have no idea if they are doing the job they are intended for. Never had a flash back my old ones and don’t really want one. Hopefully they will do the job. Not sure how I would test them so my selection was mostly based on customer reviews.

I’m still here so they are working.
