General rule of thumb is to add 2-6 inches over your normal jean size for the width (amount depends on belly size) and add an inch in length (overalls tend to shrink length more than width). For example, I'm 5'11, 245 with a decent gut. In jeans, I wear a 36x29, for overalls, I order 42x30. Baggy is the key, and you need the extra room, especially when you squat down.
